Thanks. To complete this challenge, add a validation rule which will block the insertion of a contact if the contact is related to an account and has a mailing postal code (which has the API Name MailingPostalCode) different from the account's shipping postal code (which has the API Name ShippingPostalCode). Name the validation rule 'Contact must be in Account ZIP Code'. A contact with a MailingPostalCode that has an account and does not match the associated Account ShippingPostalCode should return with a validation error and not be inserted. The validation rule should ONLY apply to contact records with an associated account. Contact records with no associated parent account can be added with any MailingPostalCode value. (Hint: you can use the ISBLANK function for this check)n the account’s Last Activity Date and today.

1.2 How to download and import AdventureWorks database | SQL Server Tutorial

06:33
Buy Me a Coffee? https://www.paypal.me/jiejenn/5 Your donation will help me to make more tutorial videos! AdventureWorks database is a sample database provided by Microsoft that comes with SQL Server. For new SQL Server users who don’t have any data to work with, AdventureWorks database provides a really good learning material. In MS SQL Server, you can import the backup database file (AdventureWorks.bak file) in two ways. One is the manual import using the SQL Server backup import wizard. The other way is to execute T-SQL statements. Unless you have very specific configuration settings otherwise, using the import wizard is probably the easiest way to import a backup database file. In this tutorial I will teach you step-by-step how to import the SQL Server database backup file. If you don’t have SQL Server installed, please watch my tutorial video how to install MS SQL Server Express (https://youtu.be/rOGq3BdwzFU) for instruction how to install SQL Server. Buy Me a Coffee? https://www.paypal.me/jiejenn/5 Your donation will help me to make more tutorial videos! Salesforce Trailhead Challenge (Superbadges): Create a contact test factory. Create an Apex class that returns a list of contacts based on two incoming parameters: one for the number of contacts to generate, and the other for the last name. The list should NOT be inserted into the system, only returned. The first name should be dynamically generated and should be unique for each contact record in the list. The Apex class must be called 'RandomContactFactory' and be in the public scope. The Apex class should NOT use the @isTest annotation. The Apex class must have a public static method called 'generateRandomContacts' without the @testMethod annotation. The 'generateRandomContacts' method must accept an integer as the first parameter, and a string as the second. The first parameter controls the number of contacts being generated, the second is the last name of the contacts generated. The 'generateRandomContacts' method should have a return type of List Contact. The 'generateRandomContacts' method must be capable of consistently generating contacts with unique first names. For example, the 'generateRandomContacts' might return first names based on iterated number (i.e. 'Test 1','Test 2'). The 'generateRandomContacts' method should not insert the contact records into the database. If you find this video useful, please give me a like to my video and subscribe to my channel. Thanks.

Create a Number Formula that Calculates the Volume of a Cylinder | Salesforce Trailhead

02:25
For this video, I am going to show you how to answer the Create a Number formula that calculates the volume of a cylinder Salesforce Trailhead challenge. Your company sells cylindrical hyperbaric chambers. You need a formula field that calculates the volume of a cylinder for you, rounded to the nearest whole number, given its radius and height. Use the existing mathematical formula for the volume of a cylinder, V = πr2h, where r is the radius of the cylinder, h is the height, and π is the constant Pi. Note: Although this formula field might best be created on a custom object, for simplicity, we’ll create this formula on the Opportunity object. Create 2 custom fields of type Number on the Opportunity object: ‘radius’ with a resulting API name of ‘radius__c’ and ‘height’ with a resulting API name of ‘height__c’. The formula should be named ‘Cylinder Volume’, with the resulting API name ‘Cylinder_Volume__c‘ and should be created on the Opportunity object. The formula should reference the custom fields ‘radius__c‘ and ‘height__c‘. The formula should use 3.14159 as an approximation of Pi. The formula should have 0 decimal points. Build criteria and actions to replace your workflow rules | Salesforce Trailhead Solution

03:52
Buy Me a Coffee? https://www.paypal.me/jiejenn/5 Your donation will help me to continue to make more tutorial videos! Trailhead Challenge Link https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/workflow_migration/workflow_migration_actions Here is the video how to answer the trailhead challenge "Build criteria and actions to replace your workflow rules". Please be aware that you must first complete the "Create a process to replace two workflow rules" challenge first. Build criteria and actions to replace your workflow rules | Salesforce Trailhead Solution If you haven’t already done so, complete the challenge in the previous unit in this module before attempting this challenge. Otherwise, this challenge cannot pass (and the Trailhead fairy cannot get her wings). Ready? It's time to add the guts of the workflow rules to the process: the rule criteria and actions. To do so, add two criteria nodes to your process, then add an action to each criteria node. Finally, activate the process so that we can confirm the process is running smoothly. Both workflow rules evaluate when a record is “created or edited to subsequently meet criteria.” If the Stage is Closed Won and the Industry is Banking, one workflow rule assigns a task for the account owner to follow up on the contract 7 days later. If the Stage is Closed Won, the other workflow rule assigns a task for the account owner to create a contract. Note: Since you can create any record in Process Builder (not just tasks), you'll skip the intermediary with the rule that assigns a task to create a contract. Instead, you'll have the process create the contract so the account owner doesn't have to do it. One less thing to worry about, eh? Criteria 1: Name: Closed Won and Banking Conditions: Checks whether the opportunity's Stage is Closed Won AND whether the associated account's Industry is Banking Associated action: Creates a task for the account owner to follow up on the account. For the due date, use this formula: TODAY() + 7. You can delete the Priority and Status fields. Criteria 2: Name: Closed Won Conditions: Checks whether the opportunity's Stage is Closed Won Associated action: Creates a draft contract for the closed opportunity's account Both criteria nodes execute their actions only when specified changes are made to the record The process is active Visit my blog for more tutorial articles and videos https://BusinessAndData.org For questions, please email me at [email protected] #SalesforceTrailheadSolution

Use External Services in a Flow https://youtu.be/NFKP6ZoWZYc Add a step to the flow you created in this unit so that it updates the Account Type field on the specified User record. You created a flow that uses the banking service’s API to add a new bank record, which includes the last name of an employee who’s approved to sign on the account. The updated flow should allow you to specify this user, and the user record should reflect the type of account permissions granted. In other words, we want to update the specified user’s Account Type field with the Account Type information entered in the flow Visit my blog for more tutorial articles and videos https://BusinessAndData.org For questions, please email me at [email protected]

Create a Chatter group and update your profile | Salesforce Trailhead

How to answer the Salesforce Trailhead challenge - Create a Chatter group and update your profile If you find this video useful, please give me a like and subscribe to my channel. Thanks. Welcome to Chatter! You have been made responsible for configuring the basic setup for Chatter in your organization. A successful implementation will help your company get wired into the world of social business and collaboration! There are several items that must be put into place before you can launch. First, set the right example by completing your own Chatter profile. Next you will create a group that will allow your organization to discuss and offer feedback about all products. Finally, in order to seed discussion, you will subscribe users to the group and make a first post using one topic you plan to use called 'Happy Customer'. Create a new public Chatter group called 'General Product Feedback'. Ensure your Chatter group has a description. Adding a photo is also recommended, but this will not be tested. Add at least one additional user to the group (this may require you to create a new user if there isn't already a second Chatter-capable user in your organization). Make a first post to your new group and give it the topic 'Happy Customer' ('HappyCustomer' is also acceptable). Add values to your Chatter profile 'Title', 'About Me', and 'City' fields. Add a Chatter profile picture if you've not done so already.
