Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia) in Sugar Land – Houston Texas
Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia) in Sugar Land – Houston Texas http://www.mybodysurgeon.com/procedures/breast/male-breast-reduction/ Gynecomastia or male breast reduction is a surgical procedure that removes excess breast or fatty tissue from a man’s chest. Starting in childhood and adolescence, many male children develop excess fatty deposits on their chests similar to breast tissue. In a significant percent of these patients, the excess tissue fails to resolve and these male patients have a persistence of ‘breast tissue’ for life. Many men are uncomfortable taking off their shirt in public or at the beach. Some wear loose shirts or compression vests to hide it. Male breast reduction can remove this excess tissue and restore the chest contour to normal. Imagine taking your shirt off at the pool or beach without feeling self-conscious! Mayo Clinic Minute: Breast cancer strikes men, too
Though it’s thought of as a disease that strikes women, men also battle breast cancer. “Men have breast tissue. I think that’s an important lesson,” says Dr. Kathryn Ruddy, medical oncologist and director of Mayo Clinic’s Cancer Survivorship Program. “If a man finds an abnormality in his breast tissue, he should seek prompt medical attention.” In this Mayo Clinic Minute, Dr. Ruddy explains who’s most at risk and what symptoms to watch for with breast cancer in men. Get Rid Of Man Boobs Fast In A Week At Home - Natural Remedy
"Man boobs" are a common problem in middle-aged males. However, you may not be particularly out of shape. just predisposed to carrying fat around your chest. While spot-reduction of fat is impossible, you can lose chest fat with a balanced diet and a workout routine that focuses on your chest muscles. You don't need a gym either. losing your man boobs can be done from the comfort of your own home. Step 1. Eat a balanced, calorie-restricted diet. In order to lose fat, you need to consume fewer calories than you burn. this is known as a calorie deficit. The United States Department of Agriculture recommends that men should consume between 2,000 and 3,000 calories per day to maintain weight, depending on age and activity levels. Start off at 2,500, measure your progress once every week, and adjust your calorie intake as needed. Step 2. Base your diet around protein-rich foods, such as meat, fish, eggs and dairy products, along with fruits and vegetables. Charles Poliquin, owner of the Poliquin Performance Center, advises that if you're prone to carrying higher levels of body fat, you should cut grains from your diet and focus on getting your carbs from dark green and brightly colored vegetables, and low-sugar fruits. Make sure that all the meals you eat at home adhere to these guidelines and are made from scratch. Try to prepare lunches and snacks for work, so that you're not tempted to break your diet. Step 3. Perform a full-body workout at home three times per week. To lose fat from your chest you need to train your whole body, as this burns a higher number of calories and helps to develop a more balanced physique. Do three sets, of 10 each, of squats, lunges, pushups, planks, reverse crunches and squat thrusts, taking as little rest as possible between sets and exercises. Once you find this relatively easy, increase to three sets of 15. Step 4. Do pushups every day. While this won't spot-reduce fat from your chest, it will help build the muscle underneath, giving it more size and definition. Pavel Tsatsouline, strength coach and author of "Power to the People: Russian Strength Training Secrets for Every American" recommends that you perform a set of push ups three or four times throughout the day, stopping just short of failure and while your form is still perfect on each set. Record your total number of push ups every day, and aim to increase this over time. Man boobs are an embarrassing situation but this video will break down why man boobs happen and the different treatment options out there to get rid of or eliminate your man boobs. Gynecomastia ('gyno') is the technical name for man boobs. It's a medical condition characterized by swollen male breast tissue caused by a hormonal imbalance. Aaron Marino of alpha m. describes how the small breast buds behind the nipples can develop. It's not dangerous but it's embarrassing. It's most common with teen boys and men who take steroids. If you are taking steroids and you go off, the puffiness will shrink. If you stay on steroids long term, however, your body doesn't re-regulate and the breast tissue can become hard. The tissue will have to get cut out. For teenage boys, puberty hits the body. Gyno can happen, and it typically occurs for 6 months to 2 years. It will go away. However, sometimes it will hang out too long and the tissue will harden. In this situation, a consultation with a plastic surgeon is advised. Alpha displays examples and discusses. Weight loss helps to drastically reduce gyno. A working out helps to balance everything out too. You can also wear a tight tank or undershirt under your garments. Size down TWO sizes. It will be tight and compress. Compression garments for men are available as well (Spanx).

Between 40 and 60 percent of men are affected by gynecomastia. But just because there are others who experience this condition doesn’t change the impact it has likely had on your life. If you are like many of our male breast reduction patients, you may feel self-conscious or embarrassed about the way gynecomastia has changed your body proportion. You might find yourself choosing loose-fitting clothing and avoiding situations where your bare chest is visible to others because you don’t feel comfortable in your own skin. Because we use the most state-of-the-art plastic surgery techniques for male breast reduction, we provide our patients with exceptionally precise results and quicker recovery times. We are one of the first clinics in Canada to use Power Assisted Liposuction (PAL), one of the newest technologies available for this procedure. Physiology behind gynecomastia- a big problem for men
Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia) Many young (as well as older) men have the problem of having excess of tissue in the region of the breast. This is clinically known as gynecomastia. Occasionally this may occur after disorders such as liver or kidney disorders, some medicines such as steroids. This is commonly seen in young men, who are working out and take steroid supplements for muscle building. Gynecomastia is indeed embarrassing because men have to modify their clothing to loose style shirts. They also find it difficult to go for activities such as swimming; outdoor sports where there may be requirement to take off shirts. There may be an absolute increase of fat tissue (adipose type) or breast tissue (glandular type) or a mixture of both. Gynecomastia is classified into mild, moderate or severe depending on the projection of the breast. Gynecomastia is a surgical problem. The treatment may involve liposuction, surgical excision or a combination of both. If the cause is mostly adipose, liposuction is beneficial. If predominantly there is increased glandular tissue, then liposuction is not effective, and a surgical excision needs to be carried out. Usually, however there is combined use of liposuction and surgical excision for best results. The results of gynecomastia correction are satisfactory. Following the surgery, the patient gets more confidence to wear better fitting clothes and undertake outdoor activities. If surgical excision is carried out, there is a scar around the areola, which takes time to become less visible. Liposuction for treatment is becoming very common as this avoids the scar and the appearance of an operated look For more info call us: 099101 24566 http://www.dermcosskincare.com/

Why Do Men Have Nipples?
Men don’t usually lactate – but they can! Cristen explores how breast tissue develops in human embryos of both sexes, and explains why mice are more advanced, evolution-wise. Check out Cristen's article at HowStuffWorks.com: http://health.howstuffworks.com/human-body/parts/why-men-have-nipples.htm Share on Facebook: https://goo.gl/6Dfi2m Share on Twitter: https://goo.gl/suRyNi Subscribe: http://goo.gl/ZYI7Gt Visit our site: http://www.brainstuffshow.com Why, hello there, BrainStuff! I wanted to talk to you about one way that mice could be considered more highly evolved than humans: Nipples. Whereas human males develop a pair of nipples (or sometimes more) that generally serve no biological function, male mice exit the womb with their bellies smooth and nipple-free. So why do men have nipples? Three or four weeks after conception, all human embryos develop parallel mammary ridges called milk lines. They extend from the top of the chest to the lower abdomen. It’s not until week seven or so that genes in the embryo’s sex chromosomes – y’know, usually XX or XY – kick in. They’re what cause the formation of sexual dimorphisms: The physical traits that distinguish biological males from biological females. But those genes don’t tinker with the already-developing milk lines! The milk lines recede naturally as the fetus grows, leaving behind nipples. Now, in mice, mammary tissue also forms in both male and female embryos during early pregnancy. But according to Yale University research first published in 1999, a particular protein stops the process in male mice. Just a few days after the mammary tissue starts to form, it produces a protein known as parathyroid hormone-related peptide, or PTHrP. In male embryos, this protein signals the mammary cells to form hormone receptors that attract the male hormones already circulating in the embryo’s blood. Those hormones shut down the mammary growth process and degenerate what tissue has already formed, leaving the he-rodents nipple-less by birth. Mice are among an elite group of mammals with such efficient male-nipple-destroying genes. Horses and platypuses are in there, too. Human males, lacking any such system, are left with tissue that’s even capable of producing milk under the right circumstances! So that’s how men have nipples. But why? Well, nipples and healthy breast development are closely linked with female reproductive success. So closely linked that biologists figure it was more evolutionarily advantageous for all embryos to develop breast tissue, whether they’d wind up using it or not. Breast Reduction: Men vs Female Differences | Dr. Daniel Shapiro
A common question that I get since I do so much breast surgery is, "Dr. Shapiro, what is the difference between a breast reduction in a woman and gynecomastia surgery in a man?" The answer to the question is many differences. The first thing is that anatomically the two problems are generally different. When women need a breast reduction usually it's a large amount of significant skin excess along with excess breast tissue. In men it usually has to do with some fat along with a button of breast tissue that usually exists beneath the nipple-areolar complex. You may feel as a male patient that you feel a protuberance beneath the nipple and that button of tissue is what we like to remove from gynecomastia. Most often it's diffuse enlargement of the breast from fat and occasionally some breast tissue. There are many causes for gynecomastia. The most common being just a anatomic predisposition with regards to genetics. Also people that smoke marijuana or take some medication have this at a younger age. In women it tends to be genetic and there are many, many causes for breast enlargement in women. The surgical approach is different in both. In women, unless we can do liposuction for the breast to remove the excess breast tissue which is very rare, we usually like to excise some of the excess breast tissue along with excess skin. That leaves us with some scars on the breast but overall the result is beautiful. It's a smaller breast that feels more comfortable. It's more proportionate to the body. It alleviates some of the pain in the back and the shoulder that women have from excess breast tissue. All-in-all, it's really emancipating for patients because they feels so much better about themselves, they look prettier and more proportioned. In men, oftentimes I can perform gynecomastia surgery just by performing some ultrasonic liposuction or SAFE liposuction. Those are two different types of liposuction. With that liposuction, I'm able to liquefy the fat that is there and also emulsify some of that breast tissue. If there is a significant amount of breast tissue beneath the nipple-areolar complex, that button that I just referred to, I will need to make a small incision around the nipple-areolar complex and remove that tissue through a very limited incision that heals beautifully. You don't know that I've been there. Very, very uncommonly are there men that have excess skin that I need to remove some of that excess skin like I would in a woman. The differences in the surgery, the differences in the presentation are significant in men versus women. Again, women generally need some surgical procedure where I remove excess skin and breast tissue and are left with scars that fade beautifully and they're quite happy. Men, I can either perform liposuction to remove the gynecomastia or about half the time I'll have to make an incision around the nipple-areolar complex to remove that button of breast tissue. Both are really fantastic procedures, both in men and women. I think it leaves people happier. It makes people feel more attractive, less self-conscious. Women feel like they have an easier time shopping. They don't have so much attention. Men feel as thought that they're less self-conscious in T-shirts in terms of having "man boobs." They also feel that they are much less self-conscious with their shirt off and overall just fantastic. This excess may also include fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. The chest can often be tender or sensitive. This condition can occur in adolescents as well as adults. To determine if you are an ideal candidate for male breast reduction, Dr. Cho will perform a medical evaluation into the possible causes of your increased breast tissue. Sometimes, the condition is caused by impaired liver function, testosterone deficiency and medication or steroid use. An MRI or mammogram may also be performed to view the breast composition. If the issue cannot be corrected with lifestyle changes, surgery may be considered. At the time of the surgery, you should be at a stable, healthy body weight and be a non-smoker. Home Remedies for Gynecomastia (Enlarged Breasts in Men)
Certain medical conditions can be embarrassing to have and therefore may leave the person afraid to seek treatment for fear of judgement and/or ridicule. One such condition that affects men is called Gynecomastia, which is the enlargement of the breast glands. This usually occurs when an irregularity of hormones are present during puberty. This condition can be embarrassing, uncomfortable and painful. It is important to seek immediate medical attention if there is pain, swelling, or discharge from the nipples. Today’s video will explore some home remedies that can help treat this condition. 1. Fish Oil Fish oil not only reduces the amount of estrogen in the body, but it also encourages the body to create testosterone. Since hormone levels are a main contributor to gynecomastia, fish oil can be a beneficial treatment. Simply take a fish oil supplement, as well as an Omega-3 supplement. Of course, as with any supplement, be sure to consult with your doctor prior to beginning a new supplement or treatment. Also, you can obtain fish oil naturally by consuming cold water fish, such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel. 2. Cold Compress With gynecomastia, the breast tissues can become painful and tender. A cold compress can help to contract the breast tissue and therefore reduce pain and swelling. You can make a cold compress at home by using a few ice cube and wrapping them in a light towel. It is important that you do not place the ice cubes directly onto your skin, since that can result in burns and damage to your skin and tissues. 3. Turmeric Turmeric can increase testosterone levels in men and therefore decrease the engorgement of the breast tissue. Just add one to two teaspoons of turmeric into a cup of water and then heat for ten minutes. Consume this tea two to three times per day. 4. Zinc Zinc can naturally increase the amount of testosterone in the body. Therefore, consuming foods that are high in zinc, such as oysters, yogurt, chickpeas and fortified breakfast cereal, are imperative in the treatment of gynecomastia. You can also add zinc supplements, if recommended by your doctor. 5. Passion Flower Passion flower also increases the production of testosterone in the body, which counteracts this condition. Use one teaspoon of dried passion flower and steep in one cup of hot water for ten minutes. Consume this tea a few times per day. 6. Milk Thistle Milk thistle can improve liver functioning. So, if your condition is caused by liver disease, milk thistle can help. Take one teaspoon of crushed milk thistle seeds and add to 3 cups of water. Remove from heat and allow to steep for 20 minutes. 7. Exercise Exercise can help to balance hormones in the body, get rid of excess fat and firm up chest and torso muscles. Any exercise that helps to decrease the fat content inside the body will help, including running, walking, swimming, etc. 8. Flaxseed Flaxseeds help to remove harmful toxins in the body, as well as assist with the production of testosterone. Take one glass of hot water and mix one teaspoon of flaxseeds and consume this each day. You can also consume 1 to 2 teaspoons of flaxseed oil or add ground flaxseeds to smoothies or baked items. 9. Epsom Salt Taking an epsom salt bath is both relaxing and can help to reduce the appearance of gynecomastia. Just add two cups of epsom salt to a bathtub full of warm water. Be sure to stir the epsom salt until it dissolves. It is important to note that this not recommended for people with high blood pressure or heart problems. 10. Dandelion Dried dandelion can also help this condition. Since it is a diuretic, it can remove excess water and bloat from the body. Make tea with one teaspoon of dried dandelion and one cup hot water. Allow to steep for ten minutes. It is also important that you do not take performance enhancing supplements, as they may exacerbate the condition. The same goes for alcohol and tobacco products. Avoid tea tree oil and lavender oils, as they can cause the body to mimic the production of estrogen. How To Know If You Have Gynecomastia? - 5 Gynecomastia Symptoms!
http://gynecomastiasurgerybangalore.com/ - In this video, we will cover 5 specific symptoms which may indicate you have Gynecomastia, and what Gynecomastia symptoms to look for. Gynecomastia symptoms can vary, so it is important to know the warning signs. The video explains 5 of the most common Gynecomastia symptoms: SYMPTOM #1: Physical swelling and tenderness of the breast tissue can indicate Gynecomastia. Men who suffer from Gynecomastia will almost always have swollen breast gland tissue. In many cases, this increase in the gland tissue size will cause breast tenderness, and, in some cases, pain. SYMPTOM #2: If you have hard lumps under your nipples, you may have Gynecomastia. If you feel a small, hard lump under the nipple, this is a primary sign of Gynecomastia. SYMPTOM #3: If you can clearly see your nipples under your shirt, you may have Gynecomastia. If your nipples appear to poke forward through your shirt fabric, this is a key sign of Gynecomastia – and can be due to excess estrogen in the male body. SYMPTOM # 4: If you have been taking hormone supplements, or have experienced latent hormonal changes, you may have Gynecomastia. Late onset of hormonal changes, and prolonged excessive hormone buildup can cause tissue and gland swelling in men, leading to Gynecomastia. SYMPTOM #5: Medications can cause Gynecomastia. If you have been taking anti-androgens such as Proscar, Propecia and Aldactone, to treat prostate problems, know that these drugs can cause Gynecomastia. Other Gynecomastia affects people of all ages. Whether underlying health problems, hormonal imbalance, medication use, or other outlying physical conditions, Gynecomastia symptoms are varied. Keeping an eye on the Gynecomastia symptoms mentioned in this video can help you know if you have Gynecomastia. Gynecomastia can be problematic for many men, a source of embarrassment, and raise multiple health concerns. The good news is, you can take action and do something if you have Gynecomastia, right now. Gynecomastia Surgery (Graphic) - Removal of Male Breast Tissue (Man Boobs) - Honolulu
Gynecomastia Surgery (Graphic) - Removal of Male Breast Tissue (Man Boobs) - S. Larry Schlesinger, Honolulu. Visit us online at http://goo.gl/7EqoX8 or call 808-201-0540. This young man came to see Dr. Schlesinger for male breast reduction. He had surgery once before but still had gynecomastia (man boobs). Dr. S. Larry Schlesinger, a board certified plastic surgeon at The Breast Implant Center in Honolulu and Kona, performs the surgery and shows the process of removing both kinds of gynecomastia: True gynecomastia is the gland, Pseudo gynecomastia is the fat. Video Transcript: We already liposuctioned the love handles or hips. We're going to liposuction the abdomen and we're going to liposuction the chest or gynecomastia. He also has gland all the way up to here. This is called the tail of Spence and this is breast tissue from when he was twelve - it turns mostly to fat on most people, but it's mostly gland on him and you need to suction it out for aesthetic reasons, but also breast cancer can occur there so you want to take it out for safety reasons. So the first thing we do is we put tumescent in and tumescent means to make rigid with fluid. So we'll put a small injection site right here and we'll open this with a #15 Bard-Parker (scalpel) and we use a hemostat to get into the space. We'll start filling it up with a tumescent needle to go right into the substance of the gland. The reason for sucking out the sub-cutaneous fat on this is if you were to take out all or most of the gland without taking out the fat, you could get a depression. So this is more for cosmetic reasons then anything else. But, we're going to try and get as much gland out as possible with the liposuction and then the rest will be done with directly cutting it out. Ok, so we've made rigid with fluid which is what tumescent means and now we're just going to leave it for awhile. I'm using an aggressive cano (cannula), it's called a tiger tip and it's got a tip that's sharper than the average cano. We'll go up here and get the tip of the tail of Spence out. That's a fairly easy piece of tissue to remove. Mostly fat with a bit of gland. What you're looking at is mostly fat. White fat, little bit of yellow fat, but mostly white. We're going to start harvesting some of the fat, some of the breast tissue and we're just going to take it out bit by bit. Now this is breast tissue. We're far enough below the nipple that we won't be causing a dent around the nipple and we're far enough above the pectoralis muscle that we're not going to enter the pec and create some kind of pec deformity. There's the muscle, right there. So we're going to go back and see if we can do some suctioning now that we've kind of cleaned out some of this. Bit by bit, we're getting it smaller. We always send this breast tissue to pathology because male breast cancer is a reality. We can't just throw it away and he certainly has enough breast tissue that we should have a pathologist look at this and give us their best opinion. Ok, let's try and lipo some more. Looking better and better. This is a drain going in, Jackson-Pratt drain coming out through the armpit, using a trocar. And this will stay in for probably a couple days. We'll sew it in. What we've done here, the skin is loose and it has to tighten back. But it will. This is a young man and therefore... and he's hairy, he's shaved his chest, and he has dark skin - dark skin shrinks up better than light skin. Men's skin shrinks up better than women's skin and hairy skin shrinks up better than non-hairy skin. So this should shrink up very well. And we're just about to start on that one. And we'll get the other side done and that's that. Visit us online at http://goo.gl/7EqoX8 or call 808-201-0540.

Your Well Being Male Breast Cancer
10 cases diagnosed each year at the Kenyatta national hospital Did you know that breast cancer also affects men?Early detection is the most important factor in surviving breast cancer. Even though men don't have the kinds of breasts that women do, they do have a small amount of breast tissue. In fact, the "breasts" of an adult man are similar to the breasts of a girl before puberty, and consist of a few ducts surrounded by breast and other tissue. However, because it is still breast tissue, men can develop breast cancer.

Breaking News - Six male breast cancer sufferers tell their survival tales
AutoNews- Breast cancer is often thought of as a disease that only affects women but hundreds of men are also diagnosed with it every year.Despite breast cancer killing around 80 men annually, most do not check themselves for symptoms, a survey found.Yesterday, breast cancer charity Walk the Walk brought together six male survivors for the first time to raise awareness of the disease. They included retired GP Mike Greenhalgh, 61, who was shocked to find out he and his identical twin brother have the same inherited faulty gene as Angelina Jolie. The actress chose to have a double mastectomy at the age of 40 to reduce her breast cancer risk.Giles Cooper, 56, was diagnosed with breast cancer a decade after his father and uncle had died of the same rare disease within two years of each other. As with women, the likelihood of getting breast cancer is higher in men if there is a family history of the condition. The faulty BRCA2 gene, which raises the risk by 6 per cent in men and up to 90 per cent in women, can be inherited from either parent.Around 350 men a year, mainly over-60s, are diagnosed with breast cancer – in addition to the 55,000 women who are diagnosed and 11,000 who die.Men have a lower survival rate as they are often not diagnosed until their cancer has spread. With the cancer developing in the small amount of breast tissue men have behind their nipples, the symptoms are very similar to those experienced by women. But while 82 per cent of men said they knew they could be affected by breast cancer, 54 per cent never check for symptoms, the YouGov poll for Walk the Walk found. And awareness among women of other symptoms – including an inverted nipple and nipple discharge – were almost double their male counterparts.Treatment for men suffering from breast cancer is similar to that given to women, including mastectomies, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.Roy Collins, 63, a PCSO with Sussex Police who was diagnosed in 2011, said: ‘I didn’t know men could get breast cancer’. Needing to talk to fellow sufferers, he was disappointed when women in a local breast cancer support group ‘weren’t keen for me to join’.Bryan Thorn, 48, from Port Talbot, South Wales, said he was initially told by a consultant at a breast clinic in 2012 that his lump was merely fatty tissue and nothing to worry about. But just over a year later, after noticing it had got bigger, the father of three was diagnosed with breast cancer.Walk the Walk founder Nina Barough said a ‘huge amount of work’ was needed to raise awareness of male breast cancer. It killed my father and uncle  Giles Cooper and his father Stephen , who died from breast cancer  Giles Cooper, 56, was diagnosed with male breast cancer a decade after his father and uncle had died of the same rare disease within two years of each other. Despite his family history, the chartered surveyor initially ignored the lump on his right breast until his wife, a nurse, encouraged him to check it out in 2014.  After the ‘bombshell’ diagnosis, he underwent a double mastectomy. Mr Cooper, a father of two from Conderton in Gloucestershire, said: ‘What I’ve discovered is if you’re with a group of men in a pub and it comes up that you’ve got breast cancer, they don’t know what to say. ‘There’s this complete lack of awareness. Men need someone to talk to.’

Men Can Get Breast Cancer Too
Let's face it, we all have breast tissue. This means that no one is exempt from getting breast cancer, even men. I was reminded of this by a man named Steve Del Gardo who wrote to me on social media with his personal story of battling breast cancer. Although the numbers are small, men who are diagnosed with breast cancer face similar challenges to those of women so it's important to understand who might be at risk.

What Is Breast Cancer in Men? | Breast Cancer
Watch more Breast Cancer Awareness videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/494642-What-Is-Breast-Cancer-in-Men-Breast-Cancer Hi, I'm Doctor Marisa Weiss, president and founder of breastcancer.org. I'm also a practicing oncologist, and mom, and also a breast cancer survivor. So I'm happy to share information with you today that could help protect your life against breast cancer. Breast Cancer can happen in women and in men. About one percent of all breast cancer cases happen in men. So let's say in one year they'll be about two hundred and forty new cases in women and about eighteen hundred new cases of breast cancer in men. Most men are unaware that they can get breast cancer. It usually presents as a lump or a rash, or an area that is bleeding, maybe involving the nipple, or close to that area. It usually grows and the man is not really aware about it and doesn't really bring it to the attention to the doctor until it's of significant stage. So in general, breast cancer in men presents in later stages than breast cancer in women. But it's still very treatable. So if you're a man and you notice a problem, or you're a woman and you notice a problem in the man in your life, um bring it up, talk about it, say you know it's probably nothing but breast cancer can happen in men, and it's important to check it out with your primary care physician. The treatment usually involves a mastectomy, removal of the breast tissue, and may involve other treatments like, radiation, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy. It's usually a very treatable problem, but it's most easy to treat when it's detected early. So if you have a change in the breast and you're a man, just make sure you check it out, a lump, a rash, itching, bleeding, any kind of symptom like that, check it out, make sure you're okay, and work with your doctor to resolve any questions you might have.

Getting Rid of Man Boobs
In 2013, there were 22,638 procedures performed to treat Gynecomastia, (breast reduction surgery performed on men), according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery’s 2013 statistics. Dr. Daniel Man, board-certified plastic surgeon explains that men can be perfectly healthy and have extra tissue in their breast that may be a challenge to eliminate based on diet and exercise alone. “Most men want to have this surgery performed because they feel uncomfortable going to the pool or the beach and it causes them mental anguish.” The first step is to inject tumescent fluid into the breast, which facilitates fat removal and provides anesthesia. Next, an ultrasound is used to soften the fat followed by a laser to tighten up the skin. Any remaining breast tissue is then suctioned out. Loose skin is lifted against the chest wall with a suture suspension. “The suture suspension is removed within a week and no scarring is left. Many men regain their confidence following this procedure,” explained Dr. Man. Men, Plastic Surgery, and Masculinity
Attention Men: plastic surgery isn't just for women. Dr. Brian Brzowski discusses male patients and how they are seeking #cosmetic surgery to age gracefully while preserving their #masculinity. Women are not the only ones embracing plastic surgery! Men have jumped on the anti-aging bandwagon with a vengeance, and want to do so while preserving, or enhancing, their masculinity. The latest statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) show that there has been a 325% increase in the number of cosmetic procedures for men between 1997 and 2015. Dr. Brian Brzowski of Murray, UT is certainly seeing these statistics reflected in his own practice. But as we all know, men are different than women; a great plastic surgeon must take this into account. Dr. Brzowski discusses why the procedures that subtly stop the aging clock without sacrificing masculinity are the best treatments for men. PLASTIC SURGERY & MASCULINITY Historically, most plastic surgery patients have been women, a trend that is quickly changing. Today, Dr. Brzowski sees a lot of men in his practice. The main difference between working on men and working on women is that men are mostly focused on retaining their masculinity, or that “manly” look. They’d rather keep a few extra wrinkles or folds than ever look as if they had anything done. Plastic Surgery & Masculinity. Dr. Brzowski’s office is in Utah where the Marlboro Man and the Montana cowboy are “still the stereotypical image of the man from the West.” We’ve also, sadly, seen some good examples of celebrities or men in the entertainment industry who are looking pretty weathered these days; most of his male patients don’t want to look like that either. The trick with men is tailoring their cosmetic procedures so they get an improved appearance that preserves masculinity. MEN & SKIN CARE Thankfully, men are becoming more aware of the fact that there are really good cosmetic procedures out there that can help them to maintain a good, healthy appearance without “pulling from their masculinity,” explains Dr. Brzowski. This really starts with skin care. Men aren’t very interested in facials or spa treatments, like women. But they are starting to embrace a good skin care regime that includes a Retin A product and a high quality sunscreen. Dr. Brzowski may even recommend periodic peels to exfoliate the skin. Skin care for men. Men in his Utah practice tend to lead a very outdoor life; it’s much of the reason why they live where they do. Life at altitude in the high desert, though, increases the occurrence of sun-damaged skin. Treating this sun damage is one of the simplest ways to achieve a more youthful look. Men are quickly realizing that embracing good skin care habits will allow them to maintain a more normal appearance for longer. “That’s what men are after — trying to appear normal,” says Dr. Brzowski. They don’t ever want to look “done” or as if they’ve had plastic surgery. TOP NON-SURGICAL PROCEDURES FOR MEN As we age, maintaining a “normal” appearance means doing small “tweaks” here and there to stave off the early signs of aging. For men, in addition to skin care, these include: Botox for active wrinkles in the forehead & around the eyes Fillers for heavy folds in the lower face & to re-plump the cheeks Kybella to melt fatty deposits underneath the chin While non-surgical procedures can be a great place to start, sometimes the underlying issue must be addressed surgically. TOP SURGICAL PROCEDURES FOR MEN As men age, they often develop a heaviness in the neck/jaw area. This can really make an otherwise fit and youthful looking guy look older and heavier than he actually is. Depending on the elasticity of a patient’s skin, this can sometimes be addressed with liposuction or Kybella. Typically, this kind of heaviness has a loose skin component. The only way to tighten loose skin is with a neck lift and/or facelift. The eyes are also a problem area for many men. They complain of constantly of looking and feeling tired. Their eyes appear less youthful, vibrant and open. For them, Dr. Brzowski will perform an upper blepharoplasty to remove some excess skin from their upper eyelids. The result is a subtle awakening to the whole face. In terms of the body, men can develop excess fat and/or breast tissue in the chest that is often the result of the hormonal changes that occur with age. It is treatable with male breast reduction surgery, a procedure aimed to solve this extra breast tissue, a condition known as gynecomastia. This surgery may involve liposuction alone or, if there is excess breast tissue, a surgical excision, or possibly both. The male breast reduction is a very popular and common procedure in Dr. Brzowski’s practice.

The 5 Top Foods To Increase Breast Tissue
Click Here: http://boost-your-bust.lir25.com Include Estrogenic Foods In Your Regular Diet Hormonal imbalance has a big effect on the size of your breasts. If your body produces extra male hormone (testosterone), this impedes your breast growth. You can avoid this from happening by maintaining the normal levels of male hormones. Reduce your daily intake of carb-rich food, and load up on whole grains, vegetables and fruits. In addition, you can increase your body’s production of estrogen that leads to bust size enlargement. For instance, most Chinese teens are fed with soup that contains chicken head, as this is an estrogen-rich food item. Herbs such as fenugreek and saw palmetto also have high concentrations of estrogen. For more information please visit: http://boost-your-bust.lir25.com

Don't Ignore These Early Symptoms of Breast Cancer
Anyone can develop this breast cancer, and it is still not clear what causes it. However, certain factors put you at a higher risk. Women who get annual mammography screenings are much less likely to die from breast cancer than those who do not. Although it is more common among women, men can also get breast cancer. Here are some important warning signs of breast cancer. 01:02 Lump in the Breast or Armpit. 02:05 Red or Swollen Breasts. 03:09 Nipple Discharge. 04:07 Pain in the Breast or Chest Area. 05:06 Changes in Breast Appearance. 06:03 Nipples Become Sensitive. 07:02 Itching on the Breasts. 08:01 Pain in the Upper Back, Shoulder and Neck. Feeling a lump in your breast or armpit may be the first warning sign of breast cancer. Such lumps are often hard and painless, though some may be painful. A lump under the armpit may feel hard or thick and dense as compared with the armpit on the other side. Do not panic when you notice a lump, as it is not always cancerous. A few common causes of breast lumps are hormonal changes in the body, a breast infection and fat necrosis (damaged tissue). It is important to have your doctor check out any new or suspicious lumps on your breasts to determine the cause. When breasts hurt, most women think it is due to premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and when breasts feel hot or appear red, they usually suspect an infection. Swollen breasts with soreness or redness might even be a sign of breast cancer. A tumor located underneath a breast can push on tissues, making the breast swollen and sore. In some cases, the swelling is more prominent under the arm or under the collarbone. If you have this symptom for more than a week, be sure to see a doctor. Discharge from your nipple without any squeezing or touching of the breast may make any women wonder. Other than breast milk, any kind of nipple discharge can be a warning sign of breast cancer. When a tumor starts in the milk ducts just under or around the nipple, it may cause irritation and infection, leading to discharge. If you notice any nipple discharge, particularly clear or bloody, get it checked by your doctor. Such discharge can also be due to an infection or other condition that needs treatment. If you have an ache, sharp stab or pain in the breast or chest area, it is not a good sign. Sharp pain that comes and goes or a mild electric sensation that you may experience from one breast to another may be a sign of breast cancer. A tumor located directly behind the nipple or in one of the milk ducts often causes pain and discomfort in the breast. Though not necessarily a warning sign of cancer, pain in the breast or chest area can be due to other serious health issues that may need treatment. At times, breast pain can be due to hormonal changes in the body, birth control pills, poorly fitting bras and stress. Any change in the shape or size of your breasts is a matter of concern. You also need to keep a close eye on dimpling, shrinkage and recent asymmetry of the breasts. Deep tissue growth in the breasts may affect their shape or size, leading to physical changes. As these changes are more about appearance than feel, you might become aware of such changes while looking at yourself in a mirror. 5 Early Signs Of Breast Cancer That Many Women Ignore
Breast cancer is the most common diagnosed cancer among women all over the world. In both women and men, it accounts for about 18% of deaths worldwide. The rate of breast cancer in women is higher in more developed countries. Scientists believe the reason for this is due to diet and the simple fact that women in developed countries live longer. In the United States, approximately 40,000 deaths per year are attributed to breast cancer. The chance of developing breast cancer increases with any of the following risk factors: old age, previous types of lumps in the breast, genetics, obesity, exposure to estrogen, alcohol consumption, exposure to radiation, dense breast tissue and a previous bout with cancer of any kind. The cure rate for breast cancer is high if caught early. That's why it's so important to routinely check for lumps and any other changes in the breast and to have yearly mammograms. But, mammograms and self-exams are sometimes not enough. Sometimes mammograms don't "see" the tumors, and some tumors that are deep within the tissue cannot be felt manually until they are very large. There are other signs of breast cancer that, unfortunately, most women ignore. So, be sure to also look for these 5 warning signs of breast cancer. New videos everyday!
