From a recent trip to Phuket, home to some of the bluest waters and most stunning beaches and scenery in the world. Highlights include Maya Bay / Maya Beach (where "The Beach" was filmed), Phang Nga Bay, Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island (where one of the first 007's was filmed; aka Khao Phing Kan). The video footage was filmed using a Canon 5D Mark II.

This is my day scuba diving from a Sea Bees boat operating out of Phuket, Thailand - and what a fantastic day' s diving it was! It shows life onboard, the food, scenery and the exceptional diving provided by Sea Bees personnel. https://sea-bees.com About Sea Bees: For 20 years we have been providing daytrips, dive safaris and courses from our base in Phuket. Unlike other dive companies, we are totally independent and self-reliant. With our own hotels, fleet of boats and dedication to safety and service; you are guaranteed a smooth and memorable experience during your Thailand adventure. Our dedication to our customers hasn’t gone unnoticed, with 10 Golden Dolphin awards for “Best Dive Centre in South-East Asia and Pacific” to our name; as well as the only 5 Star DIN certification for “Proven Top Service Provider” held in Thailand. We are also a proud member of Quality Divers and are proud to be able to offer the best diving education through our dive academy and training facilities. Our Mission We deliver world-famous Thai hospitality to divers from across the globe. Whether you’re a diving veteran or a thrill-seeking new starter, we offer a professional, multilingual service that will show you the very best of Southern Thailand and its dive sites. Beyond diving, we’re dedicated to respecting and practicing Thai culture in a sustainable way. We actively support efforts to end shark finning and campaign to stop the use of drift nets and long line fishing to preserve our marine environment. Our Vision We are dedicated to making every dive the very best it can be, always. We constantly strive to over-deliver and surpass all expectations to deliver an unforgettable experience. To this end, we are also environmentally minded and invest in the protection and restoration of our dive sites, so they can be enjoyed for decades to come. 10 Reasons To Dive With Us Discover why people choose Sea Bees Diving 10 x winner of the Golden Dolphin Award No other dive centre in Thailand has won this prestigious award; but with our dedication to unforgettable diving experiences, we’ve lifted this trophy nine times to make us the official “Best Dive Centre in the Indo-Pacific Region”. Life on deck is as great as life under the waves We take great pride in our own fleet of boats whereas other dive boat owners utilise their vessels as simple “water taxis” with many different dive companies onboard at the same time.We know that your time on deck is an important part of your journey, so we make sure it’s as comfortable and organised as possible with a crew who treat you as the guest you are and not just another passenger. Recipient of the “Thailand Tourism Award 2013 + 2015” Receiving this award from the Minister for Tourism and Sports was a great honour. The requirements needed were a demonstration of results in customer service and safety, as well as being environmentally conscious and signify a quality and excellence in tourism as well as a demonstration to support and strengthen Thailand’s tourism sector. No wheels, just waves Every dive centre in Phuket ferries guests around in minibuses… Except us. Sea Bees Diving resort is only a short walk to the harbour; so if you are staying with us, you’re not a slave to bus schedules during your trip and can enjoy more free time in the morning and a greater choice of post-dive entertainment in the evening. 5 star service and safety Our concern is your safety so you can focus on fun and relaxation. From our wetsuits to compressors, we are 5 star certified nationally and internationally (the only Dive Centre to be in Phuket and Khao Lak) and are fully ISO/DIN Certified. Sea Bees quality every step of the way We know that in between the diving, there’s a lot of time spent on boats. That’s why we exclusively use our own fleet to get you to your chosen dive sites. You’ll never spend a moment on a boat we don’t own, so we can guarantee you the comfort, service and safety that makes Sea Bees the envy of other dive centres. A proud member of Quality Divers We’re honoured to be the exclusive representative for Thailand of the International Association of Quality Divers. By diving with us, you qualify for the Quality Divers Member Card which gives you exclusive discounts on future dives at the best centres worldwide. Our 20 years’ experience We’ve been delivering unforgettable experiences for two decades, making us one of the most experienced and trusted dive centres. When you dive with Sea Bees, you’re diving with established professionals who know the dive sites like the back of their hands. We know size matters We pride ourselves on giving bigger experiences to smaller groups. This allows our guides to create more intimate and reactive adventures that make full use of your time in the water; spotting marine life you may not have found on your own and ensuring everyone’s needs and interests are catered for.

Patong Beach, Phuket 2016 A video showing Patong Beach in the late afternoon and early evening from March 2016. No music for a change, and not much editing, just the sights from what I captured. Overall Patong beach was very nice, clean and had a lot of foreign tourists relaxing at the time I visited. For more info on the best value Patong hotels and for essential booking tips visit: http://bangkok112.com/patong-best-hotels-15-40-night/ Parts of this video include: 0:00 Walking from Bangla road to the beach 0:58 Stepping onto the pristine white sand 3:20 A jet-ski with signs of damage underneath (jet-ski operators in Phuket and Pattaya are notorious for ripping off and scamming customers in Thailand. My advice is don't rent one on the beach or you leave yourself open to being taken advantage of) 4:37 A Parasailing take off and some dodgy landings 6:46 Sunset 7:15 Couple of nice looking Korean girls? 8:34 Patong beach road at dusk Thanks for watching, subscribe to this channel, follow me on twitter, and bookmark the bangkok112.com website to be sure not to miss any new releases.

Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/darrenb3 Eating Scallops, Shrimp and Crab at Banzaan Food Market Market in Phuket Thailand. Delicious Thai Seafood in Patong Phuket Thailand. This was a meal my family and I had at Banzan Fresh Food Market in Patong in Phuket Thailand. Banzaan Market is open every day from 7am till 9pm and its Google Maps coordinates are: https://goo.gl/maps/jF87Zs6ZTPD2 The market is not far from Junceylon Shopping Mall and the Thai food there is delicious! At this market you can buy the seafood from downstairs and take the food upstairs for the vendors at the Thai restaurants there to cook. The vendors charge different prices per kilogram to cook the food purchased at the market. The meal we had in the video cost 800 baht for cooking and 1,250 baht for the seafood from the market. The restaurant area is clean and comfortable and the staff seem very friendly. And the food we had was delicious! Highlights from both bays 1 & 2, Racha Yai Island is only an hour and a half boat ride from Chalong Bay, Phuket. We went out to the island with Sea Bees Scuba Diving out of Phuket on their own operated boat. Highly recommend you check them out for yourselves. There is plenty explore from the artificial reef to wrecks. The artificial reef made up of steel and concrete hollow cubes attract a huge arrange of sea life, though not much in the way of coral at this stage. Its a great spot to explore in and around. The Harruby live-aboard wreck is situated in between Bays 1 and 2 and is our pick. The bottom of the wreck is at around 20 metres. It's in excellent condition and is the best wreck in the area and very safe for beginners to swim through. The old Thai wooden fishing boat is located a little further east of Harruby. The wreck is rapidly deteriorating but is still an interesting site to see with lots of marine life about. Music is "Oh that I had" by Mt Eden

You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. Video by http://www.hotelroomsphuket.com Chalong & Rawai Beach The laid back south of Phuket is where Chalong and Rawai are located, both are destinations where visitors can experience a taste of the local culture, away from the bustling tourist beach resorts. Chalong Chalong is home to Wat Chalong, the most revered Buddhist temple on the island. Visitors from near and far travel to make merit at the temple with prayers, burning incense and by placing gold leaf on the statues of two monks famed for their role in helping the sick and injured during the tin miners rebellion in 1876. Another Buddhist landmark which can't be missed is the massive Big Buddha, constructed on a hill between Chalong and Kata. The huge mountain top sitting Buddha statue is made from thousands of tiles of white Burmese marble which glisten in the sun. The site of the Big Buddha offers amazing 360 degree panoramic views of the island. Chalong also has a picturesque bay and pier, used as a launch pad for speed boats and yachts to visit many of the beautiful tropical islands off the east coast. Rawai Beach At the very south of the island, Rawai has a pretty beach with a promenade and bobbing long tail boats in the water. Rawai Beach is not suitable for swimming but is where you can speak directly to a local boat owner and arrange a trip to many of the paradise islands surrounding Phuket's coastline. Along the beachfront discover the sea gypsy village where the daily seafood market sells the fresh catch of the day, or dine on the promenade at one of the many local seafood restaurants with beachfront seating to enjoy the serene views.

Twinpalms Phuket Resort is situated on the West Coast of Thailand in the Andaman sea. This review also covers some of the top things to do in Phuket no matter where on the island you are. Across the street from Surin beach, Twinpalms Phuket Resort is just a 30-minute cab or shuttle ride from the Phuket International Airport with fares of around $25-30 one-way. #Phuket #TwinPalmsPhuketResort #Thailand Upon arrival at Twinpalms Phuket Resort, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and lemon-scented hand towels to help you cool down. After a quick check-in and overview of the amenities, you’ll be walked to your room. All rooms at Twinpalms Resort come with a balcony or covered porch. But if you can, most ground level rooms come with a retractable sliding door that provides access to a private swimming area. It the perfect retreat to enjoy a meal or drink before or after a quick dip. If you are looking to grab your own drinks to either take with you to the beach or just sip around the resort, there is a convenience store a few doors down that sells beer, wine, and liquor. Twinpalms Phuket Resort also offers many other amenities, such as a couple clothing stores, an on-site restaurant, as well as a gym and spa. They can also support in booking any excursions. Directly across from the resort is Surin beach. Great for catching some sun or swimming. The water can get quite rough, but there are lifeguards on duty usually to monitor swimmers. They also have warning signs planted if the water is too dangerous for swimming at Surin Beach. Another amenity of Twinpalms Phuket Resort is access to Catch Beach Club located on Bang Tao beach. It has a full bar and restaurants, along with beach chairs and water sports equipment that you can rent. They also have cabanas that can be rented. The resort offers a free shuttle to and from that leaves on the hour, otherwise, it's about a 20-minute walk from Catch Beach Club back to Twinpalms Phuket Resort. Just down from Catch Beach Club is the Palm Seaside bar and restaurant which is a perfect place for some fine dining if you are looking for a nice place to dine or evening drinks. Ferries take about an hour and a half to get to Phi Phi Island and leave the Rassada Pier in Phuket Town at 8:30 or 10:30am. Phi Phi Island Video: https://youtu.be/UTSPCKSo0Hs Once to Phi Phi Island, many people want to venture to Maya Bay and Pileh Bay, which was made famous in “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. You can rent a longtail boat for the day for around 2,000 Baht which will take you out to Maya Bay to enjoy some snorkeling and swimming. Another top thing to do in Phuket would be taking an hour or so drive up to Phang-nga National Park and taking a boat tour, which includes James Bond island and the floating village of Koh Panyi. Lastly, you can choose to head up to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. Once to the Elephant Sanctuary, you will prepare bananas to feed to the elephants and shortly afterward bathing the elephants in mud water. Hope this video helps in planning your next trip to Phuket. Phuket 2014 - Thailand - Patong Beach February 2014 - Phuket - Thailand https://goo.gl/maps/MWstn Follow me on Twitter https://twitter.com/SeMeyer888 Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea of southern Thailand. The island is mostly mountainous with a mountain range in the west of the island from the north to the south. The mountains of Phuket form the southern end of the Phuket mountain range, which ranges for 440 kilometres (270 mi) from the Kra Isthmus. Although some recent geographical works refer to the sections of the Tenasserim Hills in the isthmus as the "Phuket Range", these names are not found, however, in classical geographic sources. In addition, the name Phuket is relatively recent having previously been named Jung Ceylon and Thalang. The highest elevation of the island is usually regarded as Khao Mai Thao Sip Song (Twelve Canes), at 529 metres (1,736 ft) above sea level. However it has been reported by barometric pressure readings that there is an even higher elevation (with no apparent name), of 542 meters above sea level, in the Kamala hills behind Kathu waterfall. Its population was 249,446 in 2000, rising to 525,018 in the 2010 decennial census, the highest growth rate of all provinces nationwide at 7.4% annual, some 600,000 people reside in Phuket currently, among them migrants, international expats, Thais registered in other provinces and locals. The registered population, however, includes only Thais, and the end of 2012 was 360,905 people. It is estimated that Phuket has a total area of approximately 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi) (including the province's other islands). Phuket is approximately 536 miles (863 km) south of Bangkok, and covers an area of 543 square kilometres (210 sq mi) excluding small islets. Other Islands are : Ko Lone 4.77 square kilometres (1.84 sq mi), Ko Maprao 3.7 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi), Ko Naka Yai 2.08 square kilometres (0.80 sq mi), Ko Racha Noi3.06 square kilometres (1.18 sq mi), Ko Racha Yai 4.5 square kilometres (1.7 sq mi), and the second biggest, Ko Sire 8.8 square kilometres (3.4 sq mi) (It is also the 2nd most popolated in Mu Ko Phuket. It is estimated that if all its 39 other small islands are included, Phuket Province will cover an area of 576 square kilometres (222 sq mi). The island total length, from north to south, is estimated at 30 miles (48 km) and 13 miles (21 km) wide. Phuket's topography is exceptional with 70 percent of its area covered with mountains which stretch from north to south and the remaining 30 percent being plains located in the central and eastern parts of the island. It has a total of 9 brooks and creeks but does not have any major rivers. Forest, rubber and palm oil plantations cover 60% of the island. The western coast has several sandy beaches, while on the east coast beaches are more often muddy. Near the southernmost point is Laem Promthep (Brahma's Cape), which is a popular sunset viewing point. In the mountainous north of the island is the Khao Phra Thaeo Non-hunting Area, protecting more than 20 km² of rainforest. The three highest peaks of this reserve are the Khao Prathiu (384 metres (1,260 ft)), Khao Bang Pae 388 metres (1,273 ft) and Khao Phara 422 metres (1,385 ft). The Sirinat National Park on the northwestern coast was established in 1981 and protects an area of 90 square kilometres (35 sq mi) (68 kilometres (42 mi) marine area), including the Nai Yang beach where sea turtles lay their eggs. One of the most popular (and overcrowded) tourist areas on Phuket is Patong Beach on the central western coast, perhaps owing to the easy access to its wide and long beach. Most of Phuket's nightlife and its cheap shopping is located in Patong, and the area has become increasingly developed. Patong means "the forest filled with banana leaves" in Thai. Other popular beaches are located south of Patong. In a counterclockwise direction these include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Kata Noi Beach, and around the southern tip of the island, Nai Harn Beach and Rawai. To the north of Patong are Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and Bang Tao Beach. These areas are generally much less developed than Patong, and sought out by individuals, families and other groups with a preference for more relaxed and less crowded environs than Patong. There are many islands to the southeast, including Bon Island, just a short boat trip away. There are several coral islands to the south of Phuket, the Similan Islands lie to the north west, and Phi Phi Islands to the south east. Islanders engage in a lively tourist trade, catering to snorkellers and scuba divers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phuket_Island
