Hello I’m Alan Whitfield with Harry Rosen. We often get asked about how to pack for a 2 to 3 day business trip. With a little planning you can travel light, especially if you take advantage of your hotel laundry service. Last minute packing generally leads to overpacking and wrinkled clothes. Instead take a moment to study your agenda to determine how many meetings and social occasions you expect to have. What we have laid out here represents a typical wardrobe for 2 to 3 days, assuming you’re also wearing an outfit on the plane. You’ll notice that all of these items can be coordinated with each other. The jacket and trousers can be dressed up or down. No one wants to check luggage. A good carry on and sturdy garment bag like these will carry everything you need. The hanger on a garment bag can take up to three pairs of trousers if your trip requires a longer stay. Place your jacket on top, cover it in dry-cleaner’s plastic, and push out any big air bubbles to prevent wrinkles. If a longer stay is requires you can layer on another jacket and more dry cleaner plastic. The first items in your carry on should be your shoes. Pack them heel down evenly across the floor of the bag to provide a good foundation for the rest of your items. Use the belts and socks as shoe trees to support your shoe’s shape. Use your shoes’ duster bags to protect your shoes and keep your other clothes clean. Now, fill in the gaps with your sunglass case, rolled underwear, t-shirts, and sweatshirt & pants. Try to make the base as flat and even as possible. You can either roll your ties and pack them into the gaps or fold them in four and insert them into the inside pocket of your jacket. Avoid placing them between shoes so that they don’t get pinched and wrinkled along the way. Overtop place your knits and shirts folded from the launderer. Plan on wearing your overcoat on the plane to avoid unnecessary weight on your dress shirts. One of the key tricks to wrinkle free packing is to make sure you unpack and hang everything the moment you arrive at your hotel. If you’re room’s not ready ask the concierge to hang your garment bag for you. You’re all ready to go. Thank you and safe travels.

Trench Coat Guide: https://gentl.mn/2qCkind How To Pack A Suitcase For A Business Trip: https://gentl.mn/2qEpGFD What To Wear To An Interview: https://gentl.mn/2H74Ee8 16 Overcoat DO’s & DON’Ts: https://gentl.mn/2H70bno First of all, it starts with a choice of the right suitcase or carry-on. Personally, I'm a big fan of wheels especially four wheels, not the two wheels, because you can easily maneuver them with one hand. Also, I prefer stiffer suitcases so I can put it back on top of it without it collapsing on me. So when you start packing, I suggest to first lay everything out on your bed or maybe on a carpet, on a clean space where we have a good overview. So what shoes to bring for a business trip? Black is the ultimate color. I suggest you go with a black cap toe Oxford. Alternatively, you can also go with a black oxford half brogue or black oxford quarter brogue. A little bit of broguing makes it a little less formal, at the same time, it's perfectly appropriate for everything. Now the second pair to bring is a dark red or oxblood burgundy colored dress shoe. It could either be a tassel loafer and you could travel with that because it's easy to take on and off when you're through security or you could go with a Derby shoe or maybe even an oxford. Next up, I suggest bringing two to three dress shirts. Even if you're just going on a one day trip, there's always a chance that someone will spill something on you and it's much better to have something that you can change into than having to figure out where you can have it dry-cleaned. Next up is a suit. There's probably no other garment that is more business appropriate than a dark suit. If you have to pick one, I suggest to go with a navy worsted suit, ideally single-breasted with notch lapels, either one button or two buttons, side vents, maybe some cuffs at the bottom of pants so they pull down the pants and prevent any potential wrinkles. In terms of weight, I'd go for a three-season weight. If you want just one all-rounder, you can also opt for something with an open weave. That way, you feel the breeze because sometimes when you're in an office environment, it can get quite hot but you know yourself if you're likely to overheat or if you feel cold all the time. When it comes to accessories I think a necktie is essential especially in a classic business environment. If you're a little more flamboyant or if you are maybe independent or in an area where dress codes are a little more relaxed, you can also go with a bow tie, otherwise, I suggest to stay with a classic necktie. A pocket square can really help to make your outfit look more polished. So if you have a white shirt, a white linen pocket squarw especially in a TV fold or a crown fold, it can add a finishing touch. You can find a selection of all kinds of pocket squares as well as regular neckties and bow ties in our shop here. When it comes to cufflinks I suggest to go with a simple pair such as a monkey fist knot cufflink in silver gold. Skip the colored enamel cufflinks as well as the gemstone or diamond cufflinks. Next up is a toiletry kit. I suggest keeping a small bag that you can easily remove at any point in time because sometimes at security, you have to remove it depending on your status. To save on space, definitely go with travel sized items and don't bring your regular size aftershave shaving cream or toothpaste. So last but not the least, something that you don't pack but I suggest you always bring is either a type of overcoat in the winter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? http://www.engvid.com Are you going to travel? Make sure you're prepared with the vocabulary you will need for your business trip or vacation. In this lesson, I'll teach you the English vocabulary you must know for travel -- from preparing your travel itinerary and making reservations, to getting your visas and boarding your flight. It is essential that you know this basic English travel vocabulary, because English is an international language. ESL students who are studying abroad will find these words very helpful. Even if you are not travelling to an English-speaking country, as a tourist, you will need to communicate with people at the airport, and at tourist attractions. Watch this lesson, take the quiz, and have a safe trip! http://www.engvid.com/english-travel-vocabulary-planning-a-trip/ TRANSCRIPT Hi. Welcome again to www.engvid.com. My name is Adam. Today, I'm talking about a very interesting topic because, for example, in Toronto right now, it's very, very cold. I'm thinking about travelling; I would love to go somewhere hot to get away from this winter. So, when I travel, I have, of course, to make travel arrangements. So here, we have a list of words, a list of things that you must think about before you go on a trip to a different country. We're going to go over each of these. We're going to start with "booking" and "reservation". Now, many people think that this is more or less the same, which it is. To book something or to reserve something means to keep a place, to keep your place. You book a flight, you book a hotel room. Generally speaking, you make a reservation at a restaurant; you make a booking with a travel agency or with a hotel, with accommodations, any type of accommodation. Speaking of, accommodations are hotel, motel, hostel, B&B, bed and breakfast; all kinds of accommodations. Make sure you have a booking before you go, so your place is safe, it's kept for you. When you arrive, it's all good. Next, when you're at your destination, the place you're going to, you might want to "rent" a car. Okay? Sorry, this is accommodation. One thing I wanted to also make sure - "accommodations", without the "s", "accommodation" means something different. Okay? "Accommodations" is where you're going to sleep. And you might want to "rent" a car. You can also "hire" a car. Means the same thing. British people generally use "hire" more, North Americans use "rent" more often. Next, you have to think about your "baggage". Suitcase, luggage, bags, anything you're carrying with you. You might have "check-in baggage". Sorry, I don't know if you can see this guy. "Check-in baggage" and "carry-on baggage". "Check-in baggage" means you give it to the airline, they put it under the plane, you pick it up at your destination. "Carry-on" means you carry on, so you carry it on your shoulder on to the plane. Okay? In your carry-on, you have to be careful, it has to be small. You can't have liquids because of security and all that stuff. So things that you can't put in your carry-on, you must put in your check-in baggage and give to the airline. Next, when you get to the airport, assuming you're flying, you will have to do a few things that concern the word "boarding". Before you board your plane, get on your plane - you will get a boarding pass that lets you pass through security and into the airport. On the boarding pass, you will see your "boarding time", this is when you get on the plane and your "boarding gate", the place in the airport where you're going to get on your plane before takeoff. Okay? We can also use this for a train. You board a train, you get a boarding pass with a boarding time, and generally a boarding platform. Okay? So "boarding", getting on your vehicle, whatever vehicle that might be. You will also generally need to get a "visa" to many countries. Now, a "visa" is something that you use to get into a country, it gives you permission to stay in that country. But be aware: many places, if you're going through another country... So, for example: I'm going to country "C" via country "B". "Via" means by way of or through. So I might need a "transit visa", means I can go there, switch planes and keep going on my journey. But I'm still in another country, I need a transit visa. Excuse me. Also, make sure you're prepared to spend money as soon as you get to your destination. If you're going to a different country, that country will but using a different "currency", type of money. In Canada, we have Canadian dollar. America has American dollar. Okay? For things like that. In Europe, you need the euro. So make sure you have some of the currency before you go, or purchase it at the airport or at the destination you're going to.

Pack your carry on like a PRO: https://gentl.mn/how-to-pack-a-carry-on Travelling for a longer period of time? https://gentl.mn/2Dq8tpF SHOP THE VIDEO: 1. Two-Tone Knit Tie in Black and Magenta Pink Changeant Silk - https://gentl.mn/2kBW7VE 2. Burgundy Silk Pocket Square with little Paisley Motifs - https://gentl.mn/2yVfdbF 3. Blue Socks with Red and White Clocks - https://gentl.mn/2ycUuT8 First of all, if you go with air travel, I suggest you go with a spinner suitcase with nice wheels that roll very easily so you can maneuver it very easily, but it should also be stable so you can put a little briefcase or another carry-on item on top of it while you walk with it. Packing a small carry-on suitcase is very different from packing a larger spinner suitcase, so if you want to see how a larger one is packed please check out this video here. So how do you pack a small carry-on suitcase? First of all, put out all the items you want to bring on your trip onto your bed or maybe on the floor if the bed is not large enough. Remove all excessive items and only bring the bare bones you really actually need. If it's just a one-day business trip, you simply need one pair of shoes, and I simply suggest to wear it. If it's a two or three-day business trip, you want to bring another pair of shoes but that's it. I always suggest to go with black cap toe Oxfords, maybe Balmoral ones that add a little decoration, if you have very big feet, maybe a derby shoe is the way to go. First, let's start with the pants. You want to fold them in thirds because that way, it fits into your suitcase. lay that on the flat side of your carry-on suitcase. In this video, I'm using a small houndstooth suit simply so you can see better how I fold it. If you got a business trip, probably a solid navy suit, or charcoal, or light gray, or gray suit, are the better way to go. Second, if you have a three-piece suit with the vest, you simply take the vest, fold it in half and make sure the top ends align, as well as the bottom tips of the waistcoat, then you simply just roll it up. Again, you have a nice little fabric roll, now put the roll aside. Now, it’s time for the jacket. Take the left sleeve and pull it inside out, make sure to pull it all the way through. Now on that same sleeve, go to the shoulder and push it, and fold it inside out, this creates the perfect shape and it fits right into the opposite shoulder that wasn't folded. We do this to protect the shoulder so doesn't get crushed and wrinkled. Now take the rolled-up waistcoat, and stuff it into the shoulder area so it gives it additional support and prevents it from wrinkling. Now you fold up the jacket so it lays neatly in the case on top of the pants. Usually, there's a little gap on top of the shoulder, I use that to roll up some ties and ideally, knit ties because they're less prone to getting wrinkles. Now, it's time to close that compartment and let's look at the other side of the suitcase. The socks, underwear, and undershirt, that didn't fit into my shoes now go in between the telescope mechanism so we create a somewhat flat surface. I put in the shoes sideways so they use up as little space as possible. Maybe if you want to bring a sweater or a cardigan, now is the time to put it in here. If you want to bring a long sleeve polo shirt for a casual evening outing, I usually roll it rather than folding it because a. it's quicker, b. it saves me space and c. it's not prone to wrinkling as much as let's say a dress shirt. If you want to bring any other folded items such as a t-shirt, an undershirt, I would roll those as well. Once you've put all the things in, it's time to fill the gaps. Maybe you want to bring suspenders, they should be rolled up and you can stuff them in a gap. Usually, somewhere around the shoes, with a belt, you can also roll it up but if you don't have enough space anymore, you can simply unroll it and lay it around the edges, that way, you'll maybe fit even more things into your suitcase. #howtopackacarryon #travel #howtopack -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most Popular videos: How to accept a compliment - https://youtu.be/_EKXNmM1PUo 101 things that change when you dress up - https://youtu.be/JyGDd_iYaCI How to tie a Bow Tie - https://youtu.be/2I3cfa0BOOc --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? This is no fun guys This is a hard job. This is not a holiday trip We played all day. And yesterday. This is a business trip What business are we going to do for the next few days? Swimming and sailing with a catamaran What kind of birds do live here? Some birds in tiny bikinis. A coot. It's just the normal Dutch and German bird. A Egret over there That's a very normal bird in Europe as well. There're a lot of turtles. Flamingos. Doves as well . The tiny "blackbirds" who steel the food. They are from the crow family. Very small and very slender. Actually very nice. Anacondas? Here are trees, actually growing in salt water. It's really a very old forrest. This is just around where we are in the hotel. There's really this nature which we don't know in Europe. This is so different. Every plant, everything is different. The birds are the same as at home. But the surroundings and the plants are absolutely different. I saw some plants we got at home as well. They grow here for free. In the flower shop they sell it to us. T Did we get any sun? Are we brown? It's warm and there's a lot of sun and yeah, we're coming home, not brown, but red! Because the sun is really strong here. Dieb brought his old violin because it's very loud acoustically. Today and yesterday we played acoustically. And it reminded me of the older days when Maceál and me where together as street musicians. And how hard it was, and a lot of work, just to make sound that people can hear me. That's why I have the loud violin "Il Canone" We got a lot of problems hearing each other. William: Has nothing to do with the acoustics but with your ears.. Have we seen any sharks? It's on the program: "See some sharks" I think it's funny that you travel half around the world and you get a T-shirt and colours like this: In orange, red, blue and white. When we see a flag that almost looks like a Dutch flag, like in the North of Germany, they also got a flag like in The Netherlands. Almost, a bit upside down. I will show you some other Dominican Republic flags. So this is what I was wearing We are going to play a song. We're going to make some music for you So, audience, please clap! My BEST tips for staying on a diet, exercise and high-energy plan when you travel. 💪🏻 As an entrepreneur I have to travel for work several times a month. Earlier in my career I honestly treated those trips like mini vacations... meaning, I ate like I was on vacation, I drank like I was on vacation and the time zone change KILLED ME. Now, I understand that in order to be my best self on those trips and in order for me to transition back into home life easily I need to keep my energy up and stay on track. ♥ Follow ME on INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/msrachelhollis/ ♥ Visit The Chic Site WEBSITE: thechicsite.com ♥ Like The Chic Site on FACEBOOK: facebook.com/TheChicSite/

https://www.facebook.com/StimmeKoreas/ Pyongyang, November 11 (KCNA) -- A spokesperson of the DPRK Foreign Ministry Saturday made public the following statement: Trump went on his first tour of Asia since he took office and is bustling about in the surrounding region of our country from the 5th day of this month. His current trip to our surrounding region is a warmonger's visit for confrontation to rid the DPRK of its self-defensive nuclear deterrence. It is also nothing but a business trip by a warmonger to enrich the monopolies of the U.S. defense industry by milking the moneybags from its subordinate "allies". Trump, during his visit, laid bare his true nature as destroyer of the world peace and stability and begged for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula. What cannot be overlooked is the fact that Trump, not long after his lunatic remarks of totally destroying the DPRK at the United Nations General Assembly in September this year, made his conceived attempt yet again to alienate our people from the government and keep up rivalry between the DPRK and the international society by "demonizing" our country while making nonsensical remarks of completely denying our ideology and system. He boasted about the "overwhelming superiority of U.S. power" and "peace through strength". But, he needs to be well advised that it is the stand of the DPRK to defend our sovereignty and rights to existence and development by keeping a real balance of force with the U.S. The historical lessons in decades-long history of the DPRK-U.S. showdown such as the U.S. ignominious defeat in the 1950's Korean War, the incident of the U.S. armed spy-ship "Pueblo", the incident of "EC-121" reconnaissance plane and so on, give a clear answer to the question: Who is the one that should not underestimate or try its opponent. The DPRK's possession of nuclear weapons was a righteous and inevitable choice to defend our national sovereignty and dignity and our people's rights to existence and development from increased nuclear threats and blackmail by the U.S. and its hostile moves against the DPRK. Time is now gone forever when the U.S. used to threaten and blackmail us with nuclear weapons. The reckless remarks by a dotard like Trump can never frighten us or put a stop to our advance. This rather gives us an assured conviction that our choice to embark on the road of simultaneously promoting the economic construction and the up-building of the nuclear force was all the more righteous one, and it pushes us to speed up the efforts to accomplish the great cause of completing the state nuclear force. The DPRK remains strong in courage and faith and it will surely win the final victory in the showdown with the U.S. as it is under the distinguished guidance of the great leader and has the single-minded unity of the army and people rallied closely around their leader as well as the invincible military strength. -0-

Hi Loves! Time for a Get Ready with Me Travel Routine! Most of the time when I travel, it’s for work. I partnered with Clairol to share with you some tips and my routine before traveling on a work trip. It’s hard to balance my schedule as a full-time mom and a full-time entrepreneur, so having a routine is really helpful for me. My normal work day is already busy as it is, add in travel and it can get a little crazy. Before traveling, I like to make sure I touch up my hair and nails. I have had greying hair since I was 12, and it’s really nice to be able to quickly and easily touch up my roots. When it comes to packing, my prepack technique helps me save a lot of time and prevents me from forgetting the little important details. Meal prepping is also a big part my routine. Eating clean and healthy starts with preparing your meal ahead of time. Finally, by planning out your outfits ahead of time, it prevents the classic “what do I wear” problem. How hard is business travel? This business trip from ATL to DTW took 7 hours door to door. After watching this, no wonder I'm tired when I get there. From ATL airport, Delta Sky Club, the Delta flight, the amazing sunset from the air, the incredible approach on landing, DTW terminal, baggage claim, Hertz Detroit rental car, commuting on I-94 to I-75 through Rochester to Sterling Heights, it was a long haul to Hyatt Place Utica/Sterling Heights. You can see the fatigue on my face setting in as the time goes by. I was actually amazed at how evident it was. SUBSCRIBE!!! to keep up with me and SHARE!!! with others! THANKS!!! How to Pack for a Business Trip - Wardrobe Tips - as part of the women's style series on clothing and fashion by GeoBeats. It is tricky packing for travel because you could have three days where you have three different needs, and you also have weather to think about. So what I really recommend when you travel is, stick to solid colors, they are easy to mix and match, stick with different styles of tops in the same color. For instance, here is a less formal T, a blouse that has a little more detail, a long sleeved blouse in the same color. All of these can be mixed and matched with whatever solid bottoms you choose to bring. And I would recommend two solid bottoms that are comfortable for travel. To go over these, to stay warm enough, pick a cardigan that can go over any one of these, and also pick a blazer or a jacket that can also be mixed and matched with these. Do not forget to bring a scarf. A scarf can add a pop of color to whatever you are wearing, as well as keep you warm if the weather gets cold.

A lot of people wonder if I ever work on my business trips, since all I ever post are fun adventures on YouTube and beautiful scenery on Instagram. So I vlogged my entire business trip to the South.
