Lilies, lotus blossoms, camellias and any white flowers, in general, are reserved for funerals. Japan, land of quirky culture, delicious food, and incredible complexions. Japan is well known for geishas and women with beautiful complexion, porcelain and soft skin. Their skin ages twice as slow than a westerners’ skin. 1. Rice water Japanese women use homemade beauty tips for glowing skin like rice water to make their skin smoother and clearer. Place one cup of rice in two cups of cold water and leave for twenty minutes. After twenty minutes you need to mix the rice and water for a while and then separate the water from the rice. Keep the rice water in a bottle (but don't throw the rice). Soak a cotton with this water and apply with care over the skin and neck. To make a face pack for glowing skin soak a strong tissue or paper towel with the water rice, and apply over the face and neck. Leave it on for approx. 20 minutes. Your skin should be as soft as a baby's. Now with the rice we are going to make a body exfoliator. Add enough water to the rice and blend. Apply over the body in circular motions. Leave for 5 minutes and rinse with cold or warm water but don't use any kind or soap or gel. 2. Wakame Kelp Wakame Kelp is a kind of seaweed from Japan and often included in their diet. It helps to burn fatty tissue, purify the blood and help to eliminate toxic substances. It is great to improve hair and skin. In this episode, John travels to Tottori Prefecture to the area around Mt Daisen where his friend Tomiko-san gives him some advice about how to live a long life and how she's lived to be 106 years old and still working on the farm! Also, each food is separately served, and people are not allowed to eat huge portions or to fill up their bowls. This cuisine is quite simple, and meals are slowly prepared, usually steamed or grilled. All meals have rice as a side meal, as a bread replacement, and this is one of the biggest differences between their and our eating habits. Japanese believe the breakfast is the essential daily meal, and it consists of numerous foods and drinks, like fish, omelet, soup, tofu, seaweed, steamed rice, young garlic, and green tea. When the oxygen we breathe reaches these fat molecules. It breaks them down into carbon dioxide and water. The blood picks up the carbon dioxide and returns it to the lungs to be exhaled. Therefore more oxygen our body use, the more fat we will burn. Let’s see the Method: Stand upright Tighten your butt and put one foot in front of your body, placing most of your weight on your back foot. Then, breathe in for three seconds simultaneously raising your hands in the air above your head. As you exhale, use your whole body to push the air out of your lungs, getting most of it out in the first part. Make sure you tighten up all your body muscle when you push the air out. Your exhale should last seven seconds. The difficult part is continuing to push when you don't really have air to breathe out. Do this six times. It should take about one minute. Repeat the process at least for 2 times every day. You can do it 5 times if you like to do. If may look simple, but you will start to feel the difference after the first session.
