Subscribe here to learn more of my secret SEO tips: https://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=neilvkpatel Find me on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/neilkpatel/ Read more on my blog: https://neilpatel.com/blog/ When you think about brands like McDonalds and Burger King, what comes to your mind? Hamburgers, right? That's branding! When anchor yourself into a specific industry or term, you have created a large brand. Just look at Kleenex, they've done such a great job that a lot of people don't ask for a tissue, they ask for a "Kleenex". Similar to how you ask for a coke when you are at a restaurant. The goal of branding is to connect your name or company name with a specific product or service. If you are trying to build a strong brand, think about the problem you are trying to solve and create messaging that breaks down your solution. Put your solution out there so people know what your company is all about. Now when you are building your brand, remember Warren Buffett's rule. Protect your brand at all costs. If you want to see how your brand is doing, type it in within Google Trends. Your goal should be to create a graph that goes up and to the right. If it isn't going up and to the right, you need to do more marketing.

The Importance of branding, In a nutshell - expert advice from Jonathan Alder at Alder and Alder - http://in.a-nut.sh/AlderAndAlder Don't miss new In a nutshell videos... subscribe by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=BEInaNutshell Find out more about this video... Your brand is a really powerful business tool. Another way to describe your brand is the personality of your business. It makes you more attractive to potential customers and helps you to stand out from competitors. It does this by telling people four important things about your business. It tells them; Who you are; What you do; How you do it; Why you do it. Who you are is about your visual identity - the way you look. So that includes things like your logo, your website, your literature or packaging. It also includes your name. This aspect of your brand will often be the first contact someone has with you. What you do isn't just about listing the products or services you offer. It's about explaining the benefit of those products and services. It's about explaining how your products and services will improve their business or their life. How you do it is about the way you deliver your product or service. It's about communicating the values within the business that are reflected in your behaviour, as a company. Why you do it is about sharing the purpose that lies at the heart of the business. What is it that motivates you? What is it that drives you and your business? Who you are and What you do are often what attracts someone to your business initially. But it's How and Why you do it that will build long-term relationships with loyal customers. So if you're serious about building your business, you should be serious about building your brand. ........................................ Can potential customers identify you as easily as they can identify brands like Apple, Coke, Google and Pepsi? If not, it could be because you’re sending mixed messages. That can cause some problems for a growing property management company, and deprive you of opportunities to win new business. Kim is the marketing manager at Fourandhalf, and she knows a thing or two about branding and identity. In this week’s blog, she breaks down why your brand and your identity are so important to your property management company. Keep a Good Thing Going: Be Consistent A consistent message is the best way to build a brand and identity that your current and future customers will recognize. Kim talks about what happens when you’re not consistent. If you’re sending mixed messages, people start to think you’re disorganized. No one wants to work with a disorganized property manager. Check out Kim’s suggestions for creating a consistent brand and identity, and what to do to stay recognizable when you’re re-branding. School is in Session and You’ve Got Homework Your homework is to look at everything you put out into the world: Your website Your social media pages Your Google ads and pay-per-click campaigns Your brochures and print materials like business cards Your logo Take a look at all those things and pretend you have never worked with your company before. Are you seeing a consistent identity or all kinds of crazy? Talent management is becoming increasingly important because of two reasons: Firstly, the complexity and the scale of the type of work that has been undertaken means that you need a broad and flexible workforce, which has the talents and skills they can apply to many different areas, and deep specialists in some cases. You need to manage the talent to meet the changing needs in an economic environment where people are looking for innovation in business models continuously. The second is retention of talent, where people have a clear path and talent management is present in the DNA of the organization. They are more likely to stay with the organization and develop the loyalty to business.

http://mellieblue.com Branding is a word that is tossed around a lot by businesses of all shapes and sizes. The truth is a brand is simply a promise between a company and its' intended end user (customers, clients, fans, etc.) A brand is not a logo A brand is not a website A brand is not business cards or other print collateral. These things are components of a brand known as brand identity, but it is not the brand. Building a brand takes time. Building a brand is an investment of energy and finances. Be consistent and invest in a branding expert or agency that will help build your brand awareness.
