Top 10 Worst Promotions That Lost Companies Millions Of Dollars

11:12
Lots of marketing promotions fail, but none more than these top 10 terrible marketing promotions that lost companies a fortune! Subscribe for more! ► https://goo.gl/pgcoq1 ◄ Stay updated ► https://goo.gl/JyGcTt https://goo.gl/5c8dzr ◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: [email protected] Be Amazed at these Promotions that cost Millions! The Apple U2 Giveaway - You've all probably heard of this one, the story that made U2 into a meme for years to come. But for those who don’t know, let’s explain it a bit... apologies in advance for U2 fans. Walkers Weather promotion - Quick! When I say British weather, what comes to your mind first? If you answered “Rain”, then you're probably smarter than the guys running marketing for Walkers crisps. Balloonfest of 86 - For some people, the word 'balloon' will cause them to have a flashback to the time United Way decided to release 1.5 million balloons over Cleveland and screwed up…Badly. Jägermeister’s pool of death - Ok I admit it, the title is a bit too much, but it’s not that far from the truth. This, again, goes to show that marketers sometimes don’t know the basics. The Energizer Bunny - Now how could a cute little bunny screw up a company that much? Well, do me a favor, tell me the brand of batteries you have in your remote. Tesco and math - Tesco is praised for being a fairly cheap place to shop in the UK, but after this marketing fail you might think that it's because they're just really bad at math. Oprah and KFC - We all know that Oprah is the omnipotent master of our destinies so when she offered people a free KFC two piece meal, we all jumped. Bananas for stereo - Now before I start... this one didn’t cost a lot of money, but it was really stupid on the marketing side. McDonalds Olympics - I do admit that pairing McDonalds and something that requires you to be physically fit is a bit weird, but it gets weirder fairly quickly. Number Fever - Riddle me this, what happens when you overestimate the power of numbers? If your answer was extreme riots and lawsuits, you probably work for Pepsi.

What Happened to Cyrix Processors? | Nostalgia Nerd

35:06
Intel vs AMD? Forget it. The processor wars of the 90s are almost as legendary as Sega vs. Nintendo or Amiga vs. Atari. While Intel was improving the 386 and 486, competitors popped up like AMD and Cyrix, leaving Intel with a lot more competition on their hands than today, and various lawsuits followed along the way. These companies were dedicated to overtaking Intel in the processor race, and when Intel jumped to the Pentium, Cyrix and AMD weren't far behind with 5x86 and 6x86 processor iterations (AMD with their K6). This video will explore the whole Cyrix story, from their setup to their unfortunate demise. Along the way I'll ask the important question; Did Quake kill off Cyrix? Was it the undoing of an entire processor designer?.... It's a question which has basis in the Cyrix 686 processor's poor FPU performance and John Carmack's coding which leaned heavily on Intel FPU design. But it might not be the only reason why this silicon chip designer bit the bullet. This is an era where it wasn't just Intel vs AMD, or a simple price vs performance war. This was an era of Intel vs AMD vs Cyrix vs IDT, and for me, having lived through it, it's absolutely fascinating. Sit back and witness glorious CPUs like the Cyrix 5x86, the 6x86, the MediaGX and the MII series. Along with early math co-processors that helped to make early x86 machines fly father than an IBM blue lightning chip set. ** For exclusive videos, mystery boxes and other rewards, please consider supporting me at; https://www.patreon.com/nostalgianerd?ty=h ** ☟Sharing☟ If you wish to share this video in forums, social media, on your website, *please do so*! Top 10 Huge Companies That May Soon Disappear

12:04
It’s no surprise so many huge companies are filing for bankruptcy and going under. It may be no surprise, but it’s always sad when trailblazing companies that have been around for decades call it quits. Here's our list of the Top 10 Companies That are very likely to Disappear soon. Subscribe for more! ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedSubscribe ◄ Stay updated ► http://bit.ly/BeAmazedFacebook https://twitter.com/BeAmazedVideos https://instagram.com/BeAmazedVideos ◄ For copyright queries or general inquiries please get in touch: [email protected] Save the internet!!! https://www.savetheinternet.com Be Amazed at these Top 10 Huge Companies That Will Disappear! Virgin America - Virgin America was acquired by Alaska Airlines in 2017 and there was a big question mark for a while as to what Alaska Airlines would do with the Virgin brand. American Apparel - At just 19 years old, the American Apparel brand has become synonymous with hipster style and American made products. Toys R Us - It’s hard to believe that a company as widely beloved as Toys R Us would be in this video, but here it is. In its heyday, Toys R Us was known as a “category killer,” - a specialty store that squashes competition from both large to small stores. Twitter - Twitter came on the scene in 2006 and has been a success with users who like to post short messages – or tweets - and interact quickly & concisely with other users in real time. Barnes & Noble - The successful book superstore of the 80’s and 90’s may be no more if sales keep falling at the rate they are. Sales have been down in 17 out of the past 19 quarters, and the company is starting to feel the burn. Google - When Google hit the scene, no one had ever seen anything like it. There was nothing else on the internet that gathered and organized information the way Google has done. Time Warner Cable - Internet-based streaming for movies and television has left many cable companies with very few options. One of those companies is Time Warner Cable. Kmart - In the last decade, Kmart has closed one-third of its locations. The once booming chain, which reached peak profitability in 1992, has slowly but surely been in a downward spiral ever since. Sears - And just as with K-Mart, Sears department stores will be closing more locations before the year is out. In the early 1990’s, Sears was blindsided by the success and popularity of Walmart, which became its greatest competitor. Sears consistently released statements denying that Walmart was any real threat to the brand. Youtube - Being able to view and access information freely on the internet seems like a simple expectation. When it comes to the issue of net neutrality, it’s not as simple as you may think.

9 WORST Company Failures!

11:04
Dumbest ways companies have failed to predict the future or made decisions that bankrupted them! Whatever happened to Blockbuster and Borders? Find out on this countdown of epic business blunders! #9. “Kodak”- The Eastman Kodak Company was founded in 1888 and was the most successful company in the photography industry during the 20th Century. They were the leaders in bringing the cutting edge of photographic technology and easy to use cameras to the hands of consumers throughout the world. But Kodak almost met its demise at the hands of a product that it actually invented: digital photography. Kodak invented this technology in 1975, but failed to jump on the innovation, believing that common applications for it were well into the future. Early on, the company thought that the high cost and complexity that would be needed to make a push into the digital front weren’t in Kodak’s best interests. So, Kodak put digital photography to the side to be picked back up when the time was financially advantageous, but they waited too long. By the time they switched gears, they faced competitors who had been perfecting their business models with digital photography at the center, whereas Kodak’s model was still dependent on printed photos. While other companies made deals with websites, phone companies and focused on online based imaging, Kodak floundered and in 2012 filed for Bankruptcy. They have since come back from bankruptcy and started specializing in producing smartphones and tablets. #8. “Pan American”- From 1927 until 1991, Pan Am was the largest airline company in the United States, but due to bad foresight, callous labor practices and an uncontrollable disaster this global giant quickly met its end. The company basically had a monopoly on overseas travel until World War II but was dealt its first major blow when other strong airline companies began to up their game. Pan Am fought off the competitors with its innovations such as jumbo jets and an advanced system for making reservations but these innovations couldn’t match the corporate aptitude and human relations that the other airlines dealt with more astutely. One of the main reasons for Pan Am’s failure was ironically due to its early successes. Because of the sheer size of its fleet, it was the company hit the hardest by the 1973 oil crisis. Just before the crisis, Pan Am had just purchased a number of brand new gas-guzzling Boeing 747s and was forced to dramatically raise ticket prices to recuperate. As it was trying to recover from this setback it had also become a target of terrorism in the Middle East. To the terrorists Pan Am was a symbol of the United States overseas because it was the largest U.S. airline servicing the area. During the Gulf War, in the midst of financial hardships and battles with labor unions, Pan American 103 on a transatlantic flight from Frankfurt, Germany to Detroit was blown up by Libyan nationals above the Scottish town of Lockerbie. The incident scared even more customers away from flying Pan Am and many travel agents would no longer book flights on their planes. All of these events and poor managing of them led Pan American International Airways to declare bankruptcy and completely fold in 1991. #7. “Borders”- Tom and Louis Borders opened their first bookstore in 1971. Their vast selection of books and innovative inventory system turned them into the second biggest chain of book megastores. Due to years of miscalculating the future of book consumption, the bookstore all but vanished in 2011. It all started in the mid 90s when Amazon and other online stores hit the scene. Instead of developing their own website and focusing on online sales, the company decided to further their storefront endeavors and expanded into Europe and Asia opening hundreds of stores. Their competitor Barnes and Noble, did the opposite by preparing for the digital age, perfecting their online sales system and focusing on their storefront operations in the United States. When Borders did start to catch on to the online market they were already far behind and decided to use Amazon as a host for such sales. Because of this, as more and more sales were made online, instead of receiving 100% of the profit they had to share with Amazon. Borders also was caught in the past by devoting lots of money and inventory towards DVDs and CDs at a time when digital music and video was on the rise. While Barnes and Noble developed it’s own e-reader to grab paperless book market by the horns, Borders was extremely slow to adapt to the change. All of these factors came to a boiling point in 2006 when, after several years of losing millions of dollars Borders filed for bankruptcy. By 2011, Borders realized there was no way out and closed most of its remaining stores. The only stores remaining are in southeast asia where it remain Borders in name only, as they were sold to a company named Popular Holdings.

Top 10 Car Manufacturing Companies in India Top 10 Car Manufacturers in India Top 10 Car Companies in India Automotive Industry in India Video will be live at : https://youtu.be/IFFxGRQefEQ Click here to Subscribe : https://www.youtube.com/user/PlanetzTop10 Maruti Suzuki leads from front with a massive market share of over 49 percent followed by Hyundai Motor India. Here is a complete analysis on auto sales in India and what to expect going forward in 2018. With all eyes on Auto Expo 2018, expect car sales in India to further grow this year. Please follow the list below : 10. Volkswagen : This German manufacturer just edges past Chevrolet to make it into this Top 10 list for 2018. A large part of its success is driven by the Polo hatchback and Vento sedan models. As part of the Volkswagen AG group, brands like Audi and Skoda also contribute to the sales numbers. 9. Nissan : The Indian arm of Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan Motor Company's wholesale deliveries reported an increase of 39 percent in April 2017 to 4,217 vehicles. The company, in a statement, has credited this growth in sales to customer demand for the Datsun redi-GO. 8. Ford India : As a brand, Ford has its share of loyalists in India. Their Ikon 1.6 and subsequently Fiesta S have been driver-centric cars. At the other end of the market, they also have the Endeavour – one of India’s’ first true SUVs, with a ladder-on-frame construction, butch styling, and impressive road presence. 7. Renault : This French manufacturer has a range that covers most segments in the Indian market. They have the entry-level Pulse hatchback, which is a rebadged Nissan Micra, as part of its alliance with Nissan Motors in India. The Scala sedan is a popular sedan and shares its market space with the Nissan Sunny. 6. Toyota : The name has become synonymous with quality. This has been a constant refrain with the owners and drivers of its most popular product in India, the Innova. Despite the premium pricing and long waiting periods, the Innova continues to be the market leader in its segment every month. 5. Honda Cars : As a brand name, Honda has always held a special place in the hearts of Indians. The interiors are of good quality, and the ride and handling are comfortable. Honda’s after sales service is one of the best and is responsible for most of its repeat customers. 4. Tata Motors : A massive automotive company with an incredible range of vehicles, Tata nevertheless has struggled sometimes when it comes to passenger cars. They had a very successful run with the Indica and Indigo series of hatchbacks and sedans. 3. Mahindra & Mahindra : India popular home-grown automaker, Mahindra has been a leader in transportation in rural areas. They have focused on a strong, rugged image and built a reputation for reliability. Coupled with value for money features, Mahindra vehicles have become known for being easy to own and cheap to maintain. 2. Hyundai India : As a brand, Hyundai was unknown when it launched in India. From there to becoming India’s second Best build car brand is a success story that needs to be told. The very first model they launched, the Santro was an unmitigated success. 1. Maruti Suzuki : Our very own Maruti Suzuki holds an impressive 42% of the market at the end of last month. They sold over 92000 vehicles in thirty days. And this was not a great month – in fact, it was the lowest in over a year. The average monthly sales are actually over 110000. 16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:33
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! Ivanka Trump Gets 16 New Chinese Trademarks For A Brand That No Longer Exists

03:21
Something is very fishy about the new slate of trademarks that the Chinese government just granted to Ivanka Trump. For starters, most of the trademarks are actually for a brand that Ivanka already shut down so it technically no longer exists. Could this be China’s way of convincing Trump to end his trade wars? That seems to be one of the most likely scenarios, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains.   Link – https://www.citizensforethics.org/ivanka-trump-trademarks/ Support us by becoming a monthly patron on Patreon, and help keep progressive media alive!: https://www.patreon.com/TheRingofFire Spread the word! I say whatever role it is she's playing there because many people inside The White House have said to themselves according to reporters, "We don't even know what she does here or why she is here." That's not an unfair statement to say whatever role it is because even those in The White House don't know why she's there or what she's doing. What we do know she has done in the past is she has met with foreign leaders, and she's also been given quite a few patents from the countries that those foreign leaders hail from. In October, she was actually awarded an additional 16 new patents from China, most of which for a brand and company that she actually shut down in the summer. She applied for these patents in 2016, nothing wrong with that. Then she shut down her company in 2018. The Chinese government knew this. They knew that she wasn't manufacturing over there any more, and yet they still decided to go ahead and grant her these permits similar to last time when they granted her a bunch of permits earlier this year, and then Donald Trump lifted the sanctions on Chinese telecom company ZTE even though it was shown that they were spying on people and breaking the law, a move even Republicans thought was absolutely insane, but Donald Trump did it for them shortly after they gave Ivanka all of those trademarks. What could be the motivation of China giving Ivanka Trump 16 new trademarks for a company that doesn't even exist any more? Could it be that they want the sanctions lifted, or excuse me, the tariffs? Could it be that they're trying to ease Donald Trump into ending the trade war in their favor by benefiting his family personally? That seems like the most likely scenario here. I refuse to believe that they're doing this because Ivanka Trump has shown what a great businesswoman she is because as the Citizens for Responsibility in Ethics in Washington point out, this isn't just for things like clothing, and handbags and shoes. Some of those are for those, but other patents that she was just given include things like nursing homes, sausage casings and voting machines. Does anybody want to put their parents in an Ivanka Trump nursing home? Does anybody want to eat Ivanka Trump sausage? How confident are you going to feel going to cast your vote on an Ivanka Trump voting machine? What the hell are these patents about? She's not even in those businesses, but she got the patents somehow. I can only imagine it's because the Chinese government is expecting something in return from Donald Trump and dammit, he's most likely going to deliver it for them, whatever it is that they want.

The Enlightened Brand: How Companies like Apple and Nike Pretend to Be Progressive

14:41
Here's a video about apple and nike and pepsi and kendall jenner and reebok and all these awful companies who pretend to be progressive. I call it the enlightened brand, and it makes me want to vomit. If you want to support the new channel, pitch a buck on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/onehandclap. Thanks for watching. Kendall Jenner’s Pepsi Ad and Michael Jordan’s Nike Commercials and marketing techniques and brands and basketballs and did I mention Pepsi and Nike and oh so much more :) ———————————————————————————————————————————————— my twitter: https://twitter.com/iwshicldluvumor (will announce new vids here) my gram: https://www.instagram.com/iwishicouldloveyoumore/?hl=en my *Bitcoin* address (in case you'd like to charitably divest): 35DYiircpL5mmCo6ffABY6yvNgM2WPLoDK ———————————————————————————————————————————————— Hello again! I’ve been working on this video for a while and I’m so glad to finally post it. I know I started with two videos about tv shows, but I’ve been hoping to branch out from mostly Adult Swim-related content toward music, film, and politics. This felt like a good start. Now, two things I want to say right off the bat: 1. The first five or so minutes of this video come completely from Naomi Klein’s incredible research on the topic, and if you are interested in these concepts, I really suggest you check out No Logo. There’s a lot of important ideas I didn’t have time to squeeze into these videos. 2. As you’ll see in the comments section, I’m not 100% sure about everything I’m saying. I just mostly wanted to put the ideas out there and create space for them to be debated. As always, the best way to help with the channel (if you’re interested) is to Like, Subscribe, Comment, Share with Friends, Post on Facebook, Tweet, and upvote on Reddit. I really appreciate all the help and support I’ve gotten so far. Here’s a link to No Logo: https://www.amazon.com/No-Logo-Anniversary-Introduction-Author/dp/0312429274/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1509928421&sr=1-1&keywords=no+logo And here’s a link to Andi Zeisler’s, We Were Feminists Once: https://www.amazon.com/Were-Feminists-Once-CoverGirl%C2%AE-Political/dp/1610395891 All this is for educational purposes only. I don’t own any of this content. Quick summary: I start the video by introducing Pepsi’s recent Kendall Jenner commercial, which was obviously a sickening failure. But I want to move beyond pure disgust and discuss the marketing techniques it uses. In this video I try to identify a trend in branding that I call The Enlightened Brand, which is essentially a company that tries to associate itself with some progressive political movement. I explore ads by Nike, Marriott, Audi, McDonald's, Burger King, Coca Cola, and more. Hope you enjoy :)

10 Mistakes and Secrets You Never Knew About Famous Logos

08:25
You’d think that the most successful companies in the world invest good money for their logos to be picture-perfect, yet even Google isn’t immune to messing up a logo design. Pay attention to 10 super famous company logos that are hiding something or have design fails and mistakes in them. We all know what the White House looks like, and you’d think there’d be no possible difficulties recreating it in an image. However, there were at least 3 attempts to create a logo, all of which resulted in mistakes. Wikipedia’s logo representing knowledge has a really embarrassing mistake right in the middle of the image! You wouldn’t catch it unless you know Chinese, so we’ll let you in on the big secret. Some people saw a man bending over vomiting in the London Olympics logo, while others were joking that it looked like Lisa Simpson in a compromising position. Salvador Dali hired to design the Chupa Chups logo put the brand’s name on a bright daisy and insisted that the logo be placed on top of the wrapper so that everyone could see it. And it’s basically stayed the same since then! When asked about the imperfection of letter “G” in their logo, Google chose the best route a person can when explaining his or her mistakes. They simply said that they’re aware of the inaccurate “G”, but that was all part of the plan! This slight imperfection makes their image playful and approachable. Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS The White House 0:38 Wendy’s 1:29 Wikipedia 2:20 Hershey’s Kisses 3:28 The London Olympics 3:54 7-Eleven 4:42 Chupa Chups 5:17 Walt Disney 6:01 Pepsi 6:47 Google 7:17 SUMMARY -The designers of the White House’s logo made mistakes depicting the arch shape, mixed up the order of the windows and even lost pillars on the roof. -You might see nothing special in Wendy’s white and blue striped collar, but a closer look will reveal the word “mom” right in the center. -Wikipedia logo’s designer meant to write the Chinese word “wi”, but one tiny yet extra stroke made the symbol gibberish. -Lean your head towards your left shoulder, and you’ll get a sweet surprise: a chocolate kiss between the “K” and “I”. -Iranian participants in the London Olympic Games were upset by the peculiar style of the numbers 2012 because they read the word “Zion” in it. -All the letters in the word “eleven” in 7-Eleven logo are capitalized, except for one: the “n”. -The creator of Chupa Chups Spaniard Enric Bernat picked the most famous surrealist artist in the world Salvador Dali himself to design the new brand logo. -Those elegant swirls in the “W”, “i” and “y” in Disney logo look exactly like three sixes in a row. -If you wanna see what Pepsi can potentially do to you, just add a little circle on top of its logo, some arms and legs, and voila. -The letter “G” in Google logo doesn’t look the way it should. It’s not the complete perfect circle it’s supposed to be, and the inner circle is also far from ideal. Steve Jobs' amazing marketing strategy - MUST WATCH

This is a very complicated world. It’s a very noisy world. And we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is! And so, we have to be really clear on what we want them to know about us. Now Apple, fortunately, is one of half-a-dozen best brands in the whole world. Right up there with Nike, Disney, Coke, Sony — it is one of the greats of the greats. Not just in this country, but all around the globe. But even a great brand needs investment and caring if it’s going to retain its relevance and vitality. And the Apple brand has clearly suffered from neglect in this area in the last few years. And we need to bring it back! The way to do that is NOT to talk about speeds and fees. It’s NOT to talk about bits and mega-hertz. It’s NOT to talk about why we are better than Windows. The dairy industry tried for 20 years to convince you that milk was good for you. It’s a lie, but they tried anyway. And the sales were falling. And then they tried “Got milk” and the sales went up. “Got milk” wasn’t even talking about the product. In fact, it focuses on the absence of the product. But the best example of all, and one of the greatest jobs of marketing that the universe has ever seen, is Nike. Remember, Nike sells a commodity. They sell shoes!!! And yet, when you think of Nike you feel something different than a shoe company. In their ads, as you know, they don’t ever talk about the product. They don’t ever tell you about their air soles and why they are better than Reebok’s air soles. What does Nike do in their advertising? They honor great athletes. And they honor great athletics. That’s who they are, that’s what they are about! Apple spends a fortune on advertising — you’d never know it….you’d never know it! So…when I got here, Apple just fired their agency and there was a competition with 23 agencies that…you know…four years from now we would pick one. And we blew that up and we hired Chiat\Day, the ad agency that I was fortunate enough to work with years ago and created some award winning work including the commercial voted the best ad ever made, 1984 (by Advertising Professionals). And…we started working about eight weeks ago, and the question we asked was, “Our customers want to know who is Apple and what is it that we stand for…where do we fit in this world?” And what we’re about isn’t making boxes for people to get their jobs done — although we do that well. We do that better than almost anybody, in some cases. But Apple is about something more than that! Apple at the core…its core value — is that, we believe that people with passion can change the world for the better. That’s what we believe! And we have had the opportunity to work with people like that. We’ve had the opportunity to work with people like you; with software developers, with customers, who have done it. In some big, and some small ways. And we believe that, in this world, people can change it for the better. And that those people who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones that actually do! And so, what we’re going to do in our first brand marketing campaign in several years, is to get back to that core value! A lot of things have changed. The market is in a total different place than where it was a decade ago. And Apple is totally different — and Apple’s place in it is totally different. And believe me, the products, and the distribution strategy, and the manufacturing are totally different…and we understand that. But values and core values — those things shouldn’t change. The things that Apple believed in at its core, are the same things Apple really stands for today. How a Dozen Major Tractor Companies Became Three

You could be looking at an Farmall, Minneapolis-Moline, or Hesston tractor and wonder that since they're not making those brands of tractors anymore, can you get parts for them? In this video I'll go over the constantly evolving North American tractor market and how a dozen companies became three and who those left represent. Deere is the easy one, they've never merged, acquired or been acquired. If you want parts for a Deere tractor, go to a Deere dealer. AGCO is a lot more complicated. A company built through acquisition, it's roots are the old Allis Chalmers company, which was bought by a German Company, then sold to it's American Management team. They have jurisdiction over Allis, AGCO-Allis, Oliver, Cockshutt, Minneapolis Moline, White, AGCO-White, Deatz Allis and Massey Ferguson tractors. Today, Massey is their name brand and you want to go to a Massey dealer to get parts for those. CNH is also a company assembled through acquisition. They have two brands that have separate dealer organizations, New Holland and Case IH. The two companies compete with each other and some (but not all) of their products are identical, except for the paint color. Go to the New Holland dealer for parts for the old Ford or Ford New Holland tractors, go to the Case dealer for International Harvester, Case and David Brown parts. That's how about a dozen tractor companies became three, and where to go to get parts if you have one of the brands that no longer exists. Copyright 2018 Tractor Mike LLC
