Deep Sea Eyes - Poem Video

02:54
This is a poem I wrote for a club I joined. I read it at my club's coffeehouse, which is a big deal since I'm overly shy. So yeah, the poem is mine so it would be awesome if no one uses my words without at least leaving me a comment asking for permission to do so and telling me for what you'd like to use it for. Also, I do not own this song. It is "Rose (instrumental)" from the movie Titanic. Here's the full poem: "Deep Sea Eyes" A wave of belonging A current of passion A rush of never-ending love In your Deep Sea Eyes I see the ocean Big and blue, raving yet calm I feel the tide Gentle and cool, caressing my skin I hear the waves Loud and strong, crashing with adoration I smell the breeze Bold and sweet, overwhelms my senses These are sensations What you make me experience These are what you remind me of What your calm nature represents When you hold me tight I am surfing the highest waves When you kiss me chastely I am walking on the far sea shores When you say you love me I am flying over the large oceans When you look into my gaze I see Deep Sea Eyes
An ocean poem | Victoria Batista | TEDxOU

04:17
In this original spoken word poem, Victoria describes unique traits that different deep sea creatures have evolved in order to make a place for themselves in the massive depths of the ocean. As a spoken word artist and performance poet, Isabel Victoria Bautista holds words to a high standard. For the last seven years, she has used poetry and humor to explore and explain a variety of social, political and personal issues that would be difficult to discuss otherwise. She was Oklahoma's representative to the 2014 Individual World Poetry Slam and has competed on the Oklahoma City Red Dirt Poetry slam team at several regional tournaments. She has one chapbook of poetry titled, Take Your Shoes Off at the Front Door. She regularly performs both spoken word and stand-up comedy at venues around Oklahoma City. Victoria is a second-year law student with hopes of working as a human rights attorney. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

Poem of the Sea

(More of The Wee Little Cat!) I I created this video for my Marine Science (Oceanography) class. (CLICK SHOW MORE) (Full Transcript) Hello! My name's The Wee little Cat and this poem is by Dmitry Pepper. Poem of the Sea. Echinodermata they are found in the sea they have many shapes, but each has five ray symmetry. Ectoderm, mesoderm, endoderm, make the diverse creatures in a myriad of shapes. They have a true coelom, but unfortunately no head. They have a gut and anus, enough said. Neither a circulatory system nor an excretory system are there and skin gills help them get their air. The endoskeleton may look as if it is on the outside, but it’s endo or subdermal, what a surprise! A water vascular system with its canals, operates their tube feets for our spiny skin pals. Their tiny pincers or pedicellariae, as they say, help keep all other marine animals at bay. sexual and asexual reproduction occur, but some go beyond, oh wow, sea stars can regenerate a lost arm Sea lilies, and biscuits, and urchins, and stars, and cucumbers and sand dollars, too all make up this big phylum for you.

Ocean Poem

01:22
There’s something about the ocean That makes you feel small And powerful At the same time It’s like having an idea that’s a bit to grand to fully wrap your mind around You can’t see the edges of it And you can’t see everything that it contains But you can feel it All that big wild glorious movement The knowledge that you’re in the presence of something that does not care Weather you live or die Beautiful You can hear it too If you listen right The waves against the rocks The way the light touches the water It looks like first love and heartbreak at the same time And you’ll start to understand why People have been called to the sea The water in our own bodies Bringing us home to the tides Song- The Shining, Badly Drawn Boy

BALLAD OF THE WATER OF THE SEAS. FEDERICO GARCIA LORCA. POEM. POETRY.

01:31
The sea smiles far-off. Spume-teeth, sky-lips. 'What do you sell, troubled child, child with naked breasts?' 'Sir, I sell salt-waters of the sea.' 'What do you carry, dark child, mingled with your blood?' 'Sir, I carry salt-waters of the sea.' 'These tears of brine where do they come from, mother?' 'Sir, I cry salt-waters of the sea.' 'Heart, this deep bitterness, where does it rise from?' 'So bitter, the salt-waters of the sea!' The sea smiles far-off. Spume-teeth. Sky-lips. BALLAD OF THE WATER OF THE SEAS. FEDERICO GARCIA LORCA

I've always been there, always will be Going on in steady motion. Sometimes i am hard to tame, Hard to sail on when i roar, Hard to be around my shore, Day by day it is the same. Oh yes, i am the big blue ocean, Slightly dirty, slowly dying, Deep inside you'll find me crying, Still i'm honest, never lying, I'll keep going, i'll keep trying To go on in steady motion. Often my sound fills your ear, Often my waves cross your eye. No, there will be no goodbye. I will not go, i will stay here. After all, i'm still the ocean, Home to many from land and sea I've always been where i will be Going on in steady motion.

Algernon Charles Swinburne - Prelude : Tristan & Isolde - a poem

00:43
Swinburne's Poem "Prelude - Tristan and Isolde": Fate, out of the deep sea's gloom, When a man's heart's pride grows great, And nought seems now to foredoom Fate, Fate, laden with fears in wait, Draws close through the clouds that loom, Till the soul see, all too late, More dark than a dead world's tomb, More high than the sheer dawn's gate, More deep than the wide sea's womb, Fate. Algernon Charles Swinburne ~ Prelude : Tristan & Isolde. ~~ Victorian Poetry, Richard Wagner, Tristan & Isolde, Poetry Reading Poem, Recital, Spoken Word, Fate. Poem. A.C. Crushing Anxiety - A Poem

01:57
This is a poem by me about how my anxiety makes me feel Text: They tell me just to take a deep breath. And so I inhale and exhale, inhale and exhale, inhale, exhale inhale exhale inhale exhale inhal- The breath catches in the back of my throatI always found looking at the ocean very calming. The constant meeting of the sea and the shore.A walk with friends along the cliff. Each word a step, each step closer to the edge.’“Don’t worry, we’ve got you” they say.But the sea keeps crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing against the shore. One step, I stumble as the ground crumbles and dissapea- The breath catches in the back of my throat. The howling of the wind has always calmed me down. The colourful leaves dangling in the air As I meet in the park with loved ones. Each breeze a gentle caress, each caress a soft pull. “What's the worst that could happen” they whisper. But the wind carries their words away growing stronger and stronger and stronger and stronger, tearing my hair as cold air cuts my cheeks, I fall, I fall, I fall, tossed between the leaves. The breath catches in the back of my throat. The colour blue is supposed to be calming. I am not calm during my impact with the endless blue sea.The past days play before my eyes. Each wave a memory, each memory pressing my head under the surface. “It’s just a phone call” the words echo numbly in the dark.I try to speak, to scream but I am being crashed against the shore, reeled up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down Water fills my lungs, no breath to catch. And the rushing of the ocean is the static at the other end of the line. There is no beep to be heard.Silence.Like in a room in a hospital after someone pulled the plug that’s been keeping me alive. And my mind is,Like the screen of the heart monitor, blank. No, wait. That’s not true. It’s all just in my head right? At least that’s what they say when they tell me to just take a deep breath. And so I inhale. My muscles contract, pulling my front rib cage upwards. My chest volume expands. Too bad there is no oxygen under water.

This is the Staff Roll theme from the fanmade Touhou game published by Primary-Color Space, Touhou Kaikeidou ~ Marine Benefit Composer: Crystal wingS ___________________________________________ I keep telling you guys that my uploads will get more regular, but it just never seems to happen. Well, one more tune, and Marine Benefit will be finished for sure! And by the looks of that poll, it looks like a certain selection of CDs are up next... In terms of why this upload took so long, I thought long and hard about the best way to extend this tune. Overall, I believed this was the most appropriate way to go. ___________________________________________ Artist tag: hirasaka_ine [Pixiv Not Found] http://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/892309?tags=hakurei_reimu+water
