Sea Fighter US NAVY Experimental Ship at Panama City Beach Florida

00:44
I have seen US NAVY ships before but nothing like this one in person. There are some other futuristic NAVY ships on Youtube but seeing one in person is way more fun and shocking. This Sea Fighter was literally out of proportion and shocked everyone on the boat. It is huge and fast. Also travelling in very shallow waters. It passed between us and the land was travelling out to Gulf of Mexico with idle speed. You can kind of get the size but there is nothing universal around it to give you all a good scale. The ship is NAVY color gray like all other ships US NAVY has and read FSF1 at the front. The design suggests it may deflect some of the radar signals and stay undetected. It is a catamaran style ship and probably lighter for its size. This is one of US NAVY experimental ships. Please subscribe to the channel http://goo.gl/Md7pyf

Amazing military helicopter landing on ship deck in rough seas

It’s an amazing , of a military helicopter landing on the deck of a rather small ship in rough seas and see the extent to which the deck of the ship is just rolling with the waves. It’s amazing they can land in these conditions. Operating helicopters onboard ships is extremely complex, due in part to the difficulty of landing a helicopter on a moving platform, but also due to numerous practical engineering ====================================================== -------Other videos : Crazy! A US Navy F-18 fighter jet crashed into the Philippine Sea early on Monday morning in the second aircraft mishap aboard the USS Ronald Reagan within a month. The F-18, part of Carrier Air Wing 5 onboard the USS Ronald Reagan, experienced a “mechanical issue that resulted in the crew ejecting” while carrying out “routine operations” from the Nimitz-class supercarrier, the US Navy 7th Fleet said. Both pilots managed to eject before the plane impacted the sea off the coast of the Philippines, and rescue aircraft based off the USS Ronald Reagan swiftly picked them up, they said. Russian Fighter Jet Disables US Missle Destroyer Using Electronic Warfare Weapon

08:08
The Russian Air Force Khibiny is an advanced aircraft-mounted electronic warfare (EW) system capable of jamming state-of-the-art air defense radar systems. The Khibiny jamming was tested successfully for some time on the ground in Buryatia, Russian Federation. On April 17, 2014, two Russian Air Force Su-24 bombers with no weapons loaded were sent to intercept the US Navy's AEGIS-equipped destroyer USS Donald Cook in the Black Sea. One of them flied around the destroyer up to 12 times while the other one remained away as done usually by both sides during the Cold War period. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Su-24s were equipped with the Khibiny EW system and were able to neutralize the AEGIS phased array radar target tracking capabilities while the ship's crew was unable to re-boot the system. It is not clear whether the jammer affected the radar system itself or only the computer-based component or either both at the same time. The Russian Air Force plans call for the installation of the Khibiny jammer on all its advanced jets. http://www.voltairenet.org/article185860.html http://www.deagel.com/Aircraft-Protection-Systems/Khibiny_a002981001.aspx http://indian.ruvr.ru/2014_04_21/Russian-Su-24-scores-off-against-the-American-USS-Donald-Cook-5786/

USS Caron getting rammed by the Russians in the Black Sea - Feb 1988

09:05
In February 1988, Caron operating with Yorktown, entered Soviet 7 miles ) territorial waters limit in the Black Sea off the Crimean Peninsula. Under international law, this act could be permissible if the ship was progressing from one point in international waters to another point in international waters via the shortest course possible, but according to the Soviet Union, it was the right of the USSR to authorize or prohibit travel in selected areas within the 12 mile limit. The United States however did not recognize the Soviet's claim in this case. To prevent it from becoming accepted precedent, the US Navy claimed that it had sailed warships through such areas at regular intervals in the past, which we had, not just two years prior. On this occasion, Caron had onboard a ships signal exploitation spaces system, operated by a crew of 18 in support of the U.S. National Security Agency. This system was capable of recording data on Soviet defense radars and communications. In response, the Soviets deployed a destroyer and a Mirka II class light frigate as well as a KGB and "civilian" ships to intercept the U.S. ships. Several times, Soviet vessels obtained radar "lock" on the Caron and Yorktown. Both American ships maintained a constant course and speed throughout the incident. Eventually, the Soviets lightly rammed both ships. No significant damage resulted to any of the ships involved. Both US warships sent an account of the incident to the Commander in Chief of United States Naval Forces in Europe. The Caron reported at 13:20 local time, it was informed on channel 16 VHF by the Bezzavetny: "Soviet ships have orders to prevent violation of territorial waters, extreme measure is to strike your ship with one of ours."[1] The reply of the Caron was "I am engaged in innocent passage consistent with international law."[1] The Yorktown, in its report stated that on 9:56, local time, it was contacted by the Bezzavetny via channel 16 and told to leave Soviet territorial waters or "our ship is going to strike on yours."[1] Then, according to the report, the Bezzavetny came alongside port side of the Yorktown at 10:03 and bumped it by turning into the ship.[1] As for the music, take note that this was shot on VHS and back in 1988, when we did not have Youtube. The only people we thought would see this was friends and family, not a bunch of people from all over the world. No the music is not masking the screams from the crew on the USS Caron, so if you don't like it, there is a volume button - use it Also check out the video from the USS Yorktown at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SME4w037FgA This is the video that the Russian news showed on the 10th Anniversary - All I can say is I can't believe that the Russian people believed and animated version of what happened over the real tape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dl_WNdiShs&list=FLq9THf99pIznRTXM7P8JIWw&index=54 Also the video the Russians did on the 25th anniversary - They asked me for an interview and I declined for the very reason I that I knew they would not portray it accurately and they didn't let me down http://www.tvc.ru/showspecrep.aspx?id=e1564dbe-d8e8-4ba2-a142-218db8a6e14c Here is the Russians account of what happened http://fishki.net/19391-stalnye-jajca-sovetskogo-flota-9-foto--3-video.html

U.S NAVY F35C fighter jet landing US NAVY carrier Ship

13:31
There are three variants - the standard F-35A, designed for conventional takeoff, the F-35B for short take off and vertical landing, and the F-35C which is designed for use on carriers. F-35 FIGHTER PROFILE Aircrew: One Max speed: 1.6Mach (1,217.3mph) Length: 51ft Wingspan: 35ft Max. altitude: 50,000ft Today marks the first time an F-35C has been landed on a carrier using the tail-hook system, where a large metal hook hanging from the back of the aircraft snags on a cable laid across the deck of the carrier, slowing it down very quickly. Joe DellaVedova, spokesman for the Pentagon's F-35 joint program office, said the landing was part of a two-week sea-based test that runs until November 17. The sea testing of the plane will give officials key data about the ship's performance on a carrier, and allow any adjustments needed to keep the program on track for initial use by the fleet in 2018

USS FORRESTAL CARRIER SEA TRIALS w/ FJ-3 FURY FIGHTER AIRCRAFT 22654

02:54
This U.S. Navy newsreel consists of several segments. First, the sea trials of the USS Forrestal are seen with FJ-3 Fury jet fighters landing on the angled deck of the carrier. Second, SEALs / UDTs frogmen practice off the California coast. Third, the submarine -- most maneuverable built up to this time -- USS Albacore is seen operating at sea. USS Forrestal (CV-59), formerly AVT-59 and CVA-59, was a supercarrier named after the first Secretary of Defense James Forrestal. Commissioned in 1955, she was the first completed supercarrier, and was the lead ship of her class. Unlike the successor Nimitz-class, the Forrestal and her class were conventionally powered. The other carriers of her class were the USS Saratoga, USS Ranger and USS Independence. She superseded the World War II Japanese carrier Shinano as the largest aircraft carrier ever built in terms of full load displacement and was the first to specifically support jet aircraft. The ship was affectionately called "The FID", because James Forrestal was the first ever Secretary of Defense, FID standing for "First In Defense". This is also the slogan on the ship's insignia and patch. She was also informally known in the fleet as the "USS Zippo" and "Forest Fire" or "Firestal" because of a number of highly publicized fires on board, most notably a 1967 incident in which 134 sailors died and an additional 161 were injured. Forrestal served for nearly four decades in the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific. She was decommissioned in 1993, and made available as a museum. Attempts to save her were unsuccessful, however, and in February 2014 she was towed to Brownsville, Texas to be scrapped. USS Albacore (AGSS-569) was a unique research submarine that pioneered the American version of the teardrop hull form (sometimes referred to as an "Albacore hull") of modern submarines. The revolutionary design was derived from extensive hydrodynamic and wind tunnel testing, with an emphasis on underwater speed and maneuverability.[2] She was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named for the albacore, a small tuna found in temperate seas throughout the world. Her keel was laid down on 15 March 1952 by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard of Kittery, Maine. She was launched on 1 August 1953, sponsored by Mrs. J.E. Jowers, the widow of Chief Motor Machinist's Mate Arthur L. Stanton, lost with the second Albacore (SS-218), and commissioned on 6 December 1953 with Lieutenant Commander Kenneth C. Gummerson in command. The effectiveness of submarines in World War II convinced both the Soviets and the United States Navy that undersea warfare would play an even more important role in coming conflicts and dictated development of superior submarines. The advent of nuclear power nourished the hope that such warships could be produced. The effort to achieve this goal involved the development of a nuclear propulsion system and the design of a streamlined submarine hull capable of optimum submerged performance. South China Sea CRISIS US issues chilling warning to Beijing - ‘we'll meet more AND MORE'

10:27
South China Sea CRISIS US issues chilling warning to Beijing - ‘we'll meet more AND MORE' CHINA has clashed with the US on the highly disputed South China Sea triggering further tensions between the two power nations. Chief of US Naval Operations Admiral John Richardson warned the United States and China "will meet each other more and more on the high seas” after a Chinese warship came close to a US vessel in the hotly disputed waters. The Chinese vessel came within an eye-watering 45 metres of the USS Decatur during a “freedom of navigation” sail, US Vice President Mike Pence said. The US mission was the latest attempt to counter what Washington sees as Beijing's efforts to limit freedom of navigation in the strategic waters, where Chinese, Japanese and some Southeast Asian navies operate. Admiral Richardson said China’s relationship with the Russian navy should be watched “with interest” as it grows. Source: https://goo.gl/McD49U

Royal Navy HMS Duncan warship faced ‘brazen hostility’ swarmed by 17 Russian fighter jets

10:43
Royal Navy HMS Duncan warship faced ‘brazen hostility’ swarmed by 17 Russian fighter jets - Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has said a Royal Navy warship faced ‘brazen hostility’ as 17 Russian fighter jets dangerously buzzed it off the coast of Crimea. Footage of the encounter with HMS Duncan as it led a Nato fleet through the Black Sea in May this year has been released as a four-part documentary on the Type 45 destroyer is to be aired on Channel 5. The Russian jets are seen flying so close that the aircraft’s electronics could have been scrambled by the Portsmouth-based warship’s radar system leaving the potential for them to crash. Mr Williamson said: ‘Over the past year, HMS Duncan and her crew have embodied the key role the UK plays in Nato. ‘As Nato flagship, she has faced down brazen Russian hostility in the Black Sea with jets buzzing overhead, been stalked by Russian spy ships and played a vital role protecting Nato allies during the British, American and French strikes against Syr99ian chemical weapons facilities. ‘Through her deployment, this world-leading ship and her crew epitomised the nation we are going to be as we exit the EU – a truly global Britain which is outward-looking and engaged on the world stage.’ Commodore Mike Utley, who was leading the Nato task force from Duncan, said: ‘HMS Duncan is probably the only maritime asset that has seen a raid of that magnitude in the last 25 years.’ He added: ‘I think their tactics are naive. What they don’t know is how capable the ship is. ‘When you see that much activity, I think it reinforces the nature of what people expect at the moment and why there is a challenge from Russia.’ The footage shows the jets circling the ship before returning to Russian airspace with one of the pilots sending a message to Duncan’s crew, saying: ‘Good luck, guys.’ The documentary shows one of Duncan’s sailors saying they felt the message could have been a warning to the ship while another said: ‘They had 17 aircraft, we have 48 missiles – I think we’re going to win that one.’ Commander Eleanor Stack, Duncan’s captain, said: ‘To me if felt unprecedented. There were more aircraft than we have seen in a long time.’ Earlier, Duncan had launched its Merlin Mk2 helicopter to hunt a Russian spy ship spotted on radar. Lieutenant Commander James Smith said of the Nato presence in the Black Sea: ‘They may consider it to be escalatory, we certainly don’t. But it depends on how you spin the narrative. The one thing the Russians are very good at is spinning a narrative. ‘We have to demonstrate and create our own as well. They can scream and shout all they want but we still have the right, as do all these units, to be where we are, operating how we are.’ The first episode of Warship: Life at Sea was on Channel 5 last night. China Wants U.S. To Know Its Ships In S. China Sea Can Be Targeted By Long Range Ballistic Missiles

China Wants U.S. To Know Its Ships In S. China Sea Can Be Targeted By Long Range Ballistic Missiles China appears to have threatened to use anti-ship ballistic mis-siles against American warships after a U.S. Navy destroyer sailed past disputed islands in the South China Sea. This is the latest in a string of increasingly aggressive actions and rhetoric from the Chinese government and is another signal that the country is looking to more actively assert its claims to the contested region of the Pacific Ocean. On Jan. 8, 2019, state-run China Central Television (CCTV) reported that unspecified units of the People’s Liberation Army’s Rocket Force (PLARF) armed with DF-26 intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBM) had mobilized in the country’s far western Gobi Desert and Tibetan Plateau regions. This was in direct response to the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS McCampbell conducting a so-called Freedom of Navigation Patrol (FONOP) near the Paracel Islands, which the Chinese government claims as its sovereign national territory, according to the CCTV broadcast. Breaking: CHINA Strong Warning As U.S. Operates F-35B Fighter Jet In East China Sea

Breaking: CHINA Strong Warning As U.S. Operates F-35B Fighter Jet In East China Sea Several F-35B Lightning II, stealth attack fighter jets, conducts operation over the East China Sea. During the operation, F-35B perform aerial refueling mission with KC-130J tanker aircraft above the sea. The F-35B belongs to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA-121), and the KC-130J belongs to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 (VMGR-152). VMFA-121, part of the Aviation Combat Element for the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is the Marine Corps’ only forward-deployed F-35B squadron – as part of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, the squadron provides fixed-wing attack capabilities across the Indo-Pacific region during Marine Corps, and Navy amphibious operations. The move comes just as China stronly vow to defend Taiwan and South China Sea at any cost. China's Defence Minister Wei Fenghe made the remarks on Thursday at the opening of the Xiangshan Forum in Beijing, which China styles as its answer to the annual Shangri-La Dialogue security forum in the wealthy city-state of Singapore. "If someone tries to separate Taiwan from China, the Chinese armed forces will take action at any price," Wei warned. China's military ties with the United States are important and sensitive, he said, adding Taiwan is a "core" interest and Beijing opposes displays of strength by "outside forces" in the South China Sea. Beijing has been infuriated by recent US sanctions on its military, one of a growing number of flashpoints in ties with Washington that include a bitter trade war, Washington's backing of Taiwan, and the US' military posture in the South China Sea.

WW3: Trump to RETREAT? China to CRUSH US in South China Sea

10:29
CHINA will crush Donald Trump’s military if they dare to flex their military muscles in the South China Sea, an expert has warned in a menacing World Ww3. China has the ability to control the South China Sea and the US could be forced to retreat as Beijing prepares for Battle. China, along with several of its neighbours including the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan have been involved in a decades-long dispute over who controls the South China Sea. Xi Jinping's superstate claims most of the sea as its territory but China’s neighbours argue parts of the area belong to them. Tensions have skyrocketed in recent years and resulted in the involvement of the US. Bryan Clark of the Centre for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments said: “China has the ability to control the South China Sea because it has established escalation dominance in that area.” Read More: http://bit.ly/donald-trump-usa-china-news-south-china-sea

The duration of the intercept lasted two hours and 40 minutes. The U.S. aircraft was operating in accordance with international law and did not provoke this Russian activity.
