I think you mean muscle is denser and therefore takes up less space. 1 lb. Of muscle is the same as 1lb of fat except fat takes up more space. So a body that's 140lbs of muscle is going to look leaner than a body that's 140lbs of fat, yet they both weigh the same.

Hi, first please never starve yourself. I can recommend eating lots of fruits veggies, 2 portions of protein a day and carbs 2 to 3 times a day (depends if you are active). Also, sport makes miracle. Take care of yourself. 💕

He's such a problamatic fave... Like I don't even know what I think about what he says half of the time... Yet, at the same time, that last comment made me extremely happy beacause it had the potential to help or even save someone's life. Body positivity is a really difficult subject to tackle. Especially as a male (regardless of which gender they are sommenting on), I think that remarks on men's and women's bodies can be taken in a number of negative ways. No, I don't always agree with what he says, but [most of the time] he can actually give really helpful advice. To be honest, I disagree with a bunch of his opinions, and yet I still respect them. He takes societal pressures into account as well as his own personal opinion. He also acknowledges that his opinion is not universal. I Sometimes question why I'm a subscriber sometimes, but these facts alwaays help to remind me that sometimes honesty is exactly what the world needs.

Figgy Newts yeah I can agree on that, two thirds of the time I don't agree with his opinion, but it's the realization that he actually means what he says and the fact that people like us have the freedom to disagree with it, without that opinion being super controversial, if at all, hooks me back into watching his videos again. but I completely agree with this specific video, most of the girls are either faking their insecurities about their weight in order to get onisions attention so he can compliment them, or they actually believe theres something wrong with their bodies, either way Ill quote what he said here "you need to stop being fucking retarded because your body is healthy"

You sound very healthy to me! My roommate in college had a heavier build and was extremely athletic and played several sports. She was one of the healthiest people I know. I think staying healthy and paying attention to your own body is most important!

If you’re anywhere near that weight, you are definitely not fat. I think pretty much everyone wishes they could lose just a couple more pounds, but in reality no one would really notice except for themselves. Obviously some people could do with losing a bit of weight, health wise, but if you’re healthy, you shouldn’t worry. Even if you have a bit of chub or whatever, chances are that no one really cares except for you.

+Epic_ Errorwolf I tried and also I tried really difficult diets but I noticed that only my waist got smaller and my hips bigger before my waist was 28 inches and when I ate a lot it would got up to 29 or even 30 inches but when I tried diet and exercising my waist is now 24 inches I noticed that when I lose some weight only my waist gets smaller but not my legs or every where else

oof i'm 5'2 and 155 pounds. some of it is muscle (play a lot of contact sports like rugby and lacrosse) but it's still flabby. if i suck my stomach in i look pretty thin, but i'll always have a wider frame, large thighs, and big calves - need to get a smaller waist and lose fat on my hips (stomach wouldn;t hurt too, though) my dad says i need to go the gym to work on getting faster since i'm already pretty strong. which, i mean, i play a lot of sports where i'm the shortest on the team, so i guess i kind of have to get faster at this point. strength only gets you so far in lacrosse when girls' sticks are at the same level as your neck, and girls twice the size of you are heading for the goalie.

I am 10 years old, 5'1 and 124 pounds but ive started to count my calories which had started yesterday and so i would go insane cause i thought that i was fat and everytime i would look at the scale i went crazy. About 1 week ago i was 128 then 125 then the day after i was 125 i turned 123 and then i got back to 124 and for lunch today i only ate 1 of those tiny oranges and a juice box. Today i ate about 1,000 calories though. So im gonna try to get to 95 pounds

Don't do it girl you're still so young. I developed an eating disorder when I was your age because I wanted to just lose a few pounds in a "healthy" way. I've since recovered but because I started restricting during the years of puberty I have no breasts, my periods are heavy and irregular and I have terrible acne (completely messed up my hormones). You're beautiful just the way you are hun, live your life to the fullest when youre young and wait till you're older to build your shape.

Erin Roberts it’s literally so easy...I’ve been vegetarian for 8 years (nearly vegan now) and I’ve had no problems. If u crave meats at first just try fake meats until the cravings go away (I never got them really bad). Also it saves money & animals & the environment :) good luck!!

To overweight people who want to change their bodies, going vegeterian really helps. I never ate meat or fish in my entire life because my parents raised me vegeterian, I'm naturally skinny and weigh about 40 kilograms at age 14-15. It's just very healthy to be a vegeterian and it's also good for the animals so yeah. Some people say stuff like "but you need meat to live!" which is not true because there are foods that can easily replace meat like beans or tofu. And I'm a good example because I lived for 15 years without meat and I'm still alive and healthy x3

I'm a happy omnivore and I usually eat meat at least once a day! I lift weights, do pilates, and walk, and I feel great and always have a ton of energy. I understand that going vegetarian can help overweight people but don't knock the meat! Lean protein like tuna, pollock, tilapia, and chicken and turkey can work wonders for your body and provide a ton of protein and minerals for a low amount of calories. Also eggs are an amazing food for your body and provides you with much needed selenium and healthy cholesterol. Everything in moderation and just keep to a healthy, balanced diet!

I know scientifically that eating larger meals closer to the end of the day will help you gain weight. I suggest continuing to eat healthy and incorporate things that are more calorically dense (but still healthy), like peanut butter into your diet. You could also do heavy lifting, because lifting heavier weights will grow your muscles, instead of lifting light, which leans them. If there's a gym near you with deadlifts, squats, and stairclimbers, i suggest you use them because they will thicken your thighs and give your butt a very nice curve.

That's the curse of anorexia yes they loose weight but when they get older the body will start packing on the pounds even if they don't eat I had anorexia when I was younger I got well and got to a normal size when I got older my stomach got bigger even dieting it doesn't go away my metabolism stopped working my body is fighting starvation you tell me at the most I eat about 400 calories a day I watch the fat content too still a big stomach

I’ve struggled with my weight for such a long time. I’m currently just under 5’3 and fourteen. Right now I weigh 125 lb and am looking to lose around ten pounds. Last year I was around 120 around January, but I began to quickly gain weight. I started to disregard health and one day a few months later I stepped on a scale and realized I put on nineteen pounds. 139 lb at 5’3(ish) and thirteen, I wasn’t proud. A year before this, I struggled with bulimia and so I decided I didn’t want to go back to that. However, I unknowingly stepped into anorexia. Even though my weight never dipped too low, I still had this. I starved myself and limited myself to two meals max a day. The days I was home alone I’d throw my dinner out. I lost around nine or ten pounds doing that. My friend began noticing this and we had a heart to heart, so I promised him I wouldn’t do this anymore. I lost the rest of the weight as healthily as I could. I know it’s possible because back when I weighed around 120 lb, I lost ten lb to get there mainly through exercise. I still struggle with my weight, body positivity, and some days I have to resist the urge to purge or starve myself. I cant say I love myself, but I can say I’m getting there. It annoys me to see people on media gassing up being obese or morbidly obese. I’ve only ever been overweight, but I know there are serious health problems that come with being obese. I do agree it is so important to love yourself no matter if you weigh 100 lb or 600. But that doesn’t mean you should simply accept yourself when there is a healthier version you could be. Losing weight isn’t easy, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. Love yourself always, but look out for yourself too. This goes to the underweight people as well. Sometimes you are healthy based on height and age, but remember to love yourself. Remember to keep yourself healthy. The body positivity community is on the right track when it comes to self love. But they would never put an anorexic person on the cover of a magazine and say “you should aspire to be this! this is healthy!” So why do they do this for the obese?

Being 5”3 and 125 lbs is a great and completely healthy size and if you felt like you could put on thirty more pounds for kicks (and still be completely healthy). I hope your not trying to loose more weight with unnecessary weight loss comes frailty and you become more susceptible to disease and illnesses therefore becoming less healthy. If you want to be more healthy exercise to gain muscle mass and eat plentiful healthy meals. Don’t try to be the ideal body type that’s just a photoshopped image someone made and it’s completely unrealistic. Be yourself and be healthy and BMI scales are completely archaic and inaccurate scientists are currently making a more modern realistic scale.

Jennie everyone’s body is different. She probably has less muscle tissue or a less body fat percentile than you do. Some people can weigh the same & look different for this reason. 60 kgs isnt bad either way though
I'm currently 6'6 and 110 lbs Normal people who are about 6'0 something ft are about 110-185 Im under weight because I struggle with anorexia bulimia both types of eating disorders Im not proud that I starved myself but I'm starting to appreciate my body and I'm gaining weight so that's good I'd been eating more meals and they are very healthy as well I'm just praying that I don't relapse into it cause it was very painful and I hope everyone knows that no matter what size you are or how much you weigh, you are beautiful

I almost became anorexic, but I just thought “Do you wanna go through life eating what you hate just to please others, or do you wanna go through life enjoying everything?” You should still eat healthy, but sugary stuff should be kept at a minimum.

I mean this in the nicest way don’t loose more weight your doing fine. I’ve seen 119 lbs on girls varying in heights 5”2-5”6 and their relatively thin and fragile like. I would personally recommend maybe gaining a few lbs but, not by eating junk food. By eating healthy but slightly more plentiful meals. Also, exercising can help you gain muscle mass and help you put on a few healthy pounds. Best wishes on your adventure with finding the best size for you! Hope it’s the healthiest.

I have to agree with Kailey. My advice would be to go online or consult your doctor and ask what the "ideal" ie healthiest body weight would be according to the BMI index, and from there make sure you try to stick with the recommended daily calorie intake (don't worry...it is okay to go over sometimes lol), try to work out 3 times a week or more even if its more low intensity such as yoga to build proper muscle mass (I'm not sure of your muscle mass but a little exercise never hurt), and lastly drink enough water. Dehydration can be the root cause of a lot of different things. Sending love and light, namaste (we are all one). :)

Panala it depends, because if your muscley or not, because muscle ways more than fat, and it depends on your height, everyone has a different average weight, as long as you don’t have fat going down to your crotch than you Gucci 🙂

I would go to your mom and be as calm and serious as possible and hopefully she’ll be understanding. If that doesn’t work out see a school counselor and they can help. I hope you get better with both your anxiety and your anorexia remember stay calm and keep eating healthy. Also, thin doesn’t always necessarily mean healthy. I believe in you. However anorexia is a mental health disorder. If you’re struggling with eating your weight might not reflect that, but it still something you deserve help for. Good luck ❤️

big man on campus Things like anorexia and bulimia and other eating disorders can usually be self diagnosed- but you still have to go to a doctor. If you’re starving yourself or binging and purging, it doesn’t take a doctor to tell you have an eating disorder- it does take a doctor to help.

Honestly, 92 lbs is a little on the thin side. Eat healthy plentiful meals and exercise to gain what’s considered healthy weight. That curve are your organs if you keep trying to loose that weight your body will deteriorate in what is usually called “severe frailty” and that’s when your body become susceptible to illnesses and bone mass thins out so it is as easily broken as a twig. The curves that you have on the sides of your body are your bones curving and organs being more prominent in certain areas. I hope you can work to become more healthy and happier with your body no matter the size!

Day _777 Honestly, your on the thin side of life. Thin is not necessarily healthy all the time. I recommend eating plentiful healthy meals and exercise to gain what are called “healthy pounds”. If you get much thinner you’ll go into a state called severe frailty which makes you extremely unhealthy and susceptible to illnesses. I hope your journey to be the healthiest you can be and your ideal body weight goes great!
